    I. Basic Info for Beginners (I will avoid the "too obvious" stuff =) and write on key stuff that are easy to miss out and ppl are confused with, so if u r a complete newbie, u should start playing while using my guide, cuz the first 15 lvls are basically helping newbies to understand how the game works.)

    Part 1. factions and Zones(planets)

when u create a character, u need to choose between mars and earth They're identical, so doesn't matter much which one u choose (remember these 2 factions are in war, so u can pk players from the other faction and u cannot transfer money to anyone from the other faction etc. So if u make miner accounts, make sure they are on the same planet)

Recruit Planet: birth place, no lvl limit (no PK) ArmorBattle planet: u can go there after lvl 21 (PK) IcePlanet: after lvl 21 (neutral, no pk) Space: after lvl 35(PK)

Note: there will be siege battles in the future, so ur corp can capture cities in some of these zones.

Part 2. Armor Parts parts functionalities:

Head: increase visibility (basically, the higher rank, the further u can see and lock on targets) Arm: this is for additional stats( usually gives dmg bonus) Body: increase space Leg: increase movement speed Control: increase CI Core: increase energy (also: some cores have slots for skill chips etc...the more slots on the core, the better it is) Engine: increase power Weapon: increase attack of course

Also,1. u can equip shields if u use single hand weapon 2. the beginner Jetpack (boosters, w/e it's called) costs 1million

Order of upgrading ur armor: Body -engine- weapon- arm-leg - head-control-core so when u get new knowledge points, add accordingly to this order

Remember: the goal for upgrading armor is always getting the best weapon possible better weapons usually requires more power the more dmg u do, the faster u lvl some ppl just upgrade armor for the looks... Meteo's tip 1. if u want to lvl fast, dont worry about the look so much lol 2. there is a quest that gives +90 dmg (hitpoints) bonus arm!!! u will be using it for a long time... 3 cant remember for now...sry lol

Part3 6 different Quality of parts (in order) 1. [Normal] 2. [Advanced] 3. [Enhanced] 4. [Elite] 5. [special] 6. [Epic]

Meaning of color of the parts name:

White: Normal Green: suits (u need these 5 parts to get the suit bonus: head, arm, leg, body, engine) (remember: green control and core are pretty much junk, dont buy those from players lol) Blue: 1 additional bonus stat Purple: 2 additional bonus stat Orange: reconfigured part

Part 4 Reconfiguration (aka parts upgrade) some parts can be reconfigured (it will tell if it's reconfigurable or not on its description) weapons and shields cannot be reconfigured

There are 2 types of reconfiguration normal and precise (btw reconfiguration skill can be found in ur skill tab(press F2 to open skill tab)

when u open reconfiguration window u will see 2 slots on the top, put the part that u want to reconfigure into the first slot and u will see 2 exp bars first one is for normal, second one is for precise

precise: you need to buy a 10k item from the supplier for this and then just dump in all the junk parts u dont need

Normal: u dont need to buy the precise item, just dump in junk parts

When u lvl up precise: it should add 0-1 to part stat normal is 0-5

also when u lvl up precise, it doesnt lvl u the rank of the part if u lvl up normal, it will increase the rank, so it will increase the basic stats of the part and the power&CI requirements needed to use the part

according a Chinese data source rank 12 parts cost 66700 exp to lvl up or upgrade pretty sure everybody knows that u can exchange mines for green parts at npc 1 set of mines is 200 = 10 parts (assuming every time, she gives u parts, not pots) for rank 12 stuff, each part sells for 2300 every part gives 14 exp...so 66700/14=4764 parts 4764*2300=10,957,200 that's the lowest possible amount of money u will spend on just upgrading 1 rank 12 part

       * cough* 11million is totally not worth it!!!

also after reconfiguration, the item will bind, so no matter how good it is.. u cannot sell to players to get some money back...u will be stuck with this part forever...>.> if u use precise upgrade...each precise item costs 10k...that's another 5-6million in total...

Sooo...what's the point of all this trouble? Snail game probably designed this feature so they can make huge profit off it... since mobs dont drop uber uber elite parts if u want to pwn everyone, u have to spend money on upgrading all ur parts but for the rest of us, it is still a nice feature for rank 1-10 parts The best use of this feature is start reconfiguration on rank 1 parts find a rank 1 life arm that gives +30% dmg from the lvl 15 boss if u start reconfiguration it since rank 1, pretty sure it will become +80% by the time it reach rank 5 or something so it's good, since u cant find anything like that from loots

Time for meteo's Tips reconfiguration is best when u start from rank 1-2 parts, it's cheaper and need less exp.

Part 5. lvling u can see what kinds of loots u will get from the mob when u target it when u choose appropriate mobs to grind on 1. first, choose the one with the most exp...ok duh... but also... 2. choose mobs that drop parts. [mobs dont usually drop good weapons, all the good weapons are from BOSS, ALWAYS!]

    3. choose mobs that u can 1 shot kill if u can, at most 3 shots... unless it's for quests

    4. choose mobs that drop mines, mines = money

Part 6. Skills each race has different skills they are found at 2nd page of the skill tab F2 I actually didnt see it at first lol

so basically everybody gets 2 skills at the start 1 skill is for melee weapon

second skill: Humans: Quick repair skill, faster repair and cooldown for repair items Neo-Humans: shield improve skill, for ur teammates Enhanced Humans: attract all the mobs' attack to u to protect ur teammates

from the skills we can tell that enhanced human=tanker neo-human=attacker and able to buff the shields...wow... humans= medic I think and probably buffer

u can only get new skills from skill chips from commander daybreak (they're the yellow mechs) (some lvl 21+ mobs in the IP or AB also drop, but much more rare)

so... u only get new skills by... fight mobs -> loots -> insert skill chips into ur cabin

Enhancer chips: u can get those same way as skill chips they are used to enhance atk damage or resistance u insert those in ur core

Upgrade Skills: u can combine 2-5 skill chips to lvl it up at the composing lady 2 chips=20% rate of success 3 chips=40% 4 chips=65% 5 chips=90%

ex: combine 4 Rainbow 1 -> 65% success rate if success, u get 1 Rainbow 2 if fail, u lose all the chips (unless u bought a stabilizer from the cash shop)

also according to Chinese forums, there are also transformation chips that let u transform to an airplane or something like that. (but u can only get transformation chip from cash shop)

Part 7 How to choose the best equips standard good additional bonus on equips are... Head: choose scout + lock improvement bonus stats(very important for PK) Arm: if u r neohuman, choose +attack% for more dmg

if u r enhanced human or others, choose + dmg or - interval

Body: first choice is All resistance, 2nd choice is energy shield Leg: +attack % / +atk Engine: add lock range, 2nd choice is add energy shield Core: all resistance , 2nd choice is add energy shield Control: add lock range Choose weapons that can efficiently kill mobs in 1-2 hits if u can, and if u have extra knowledge points, get a shield for better protection

there are more ways to choose the best bonus stats, check my pk guild for builds

    Part 8 Quests

Item quests: u can found those by just walking around the city sometimes when u lvl up, u will receive training quests just go to the npc and get ur rewards

Random quests: resupply quest exp 60,000 you can only get 5 of those per 24hr Kill monster quests. lots exp around 60k, depends on ur lvl

Short of Energy Quests Origin Crystals = 2000 + random rank 3 random equips Glint = 5000 + random rank 5 random equips Honor = Money + random rank 8 random equips Confidence = Money + random rank 11 random equips Kryan = Money + random mid lvl weapons Fantasyland = Money + random rank 14 random equips DeepBlue = Money + high lvl weapons

II Advanced and my leveling guide

    1. Lvling, basically just follow the quests =) you can get to lvl 15 in just a few hours it will get slower, but if you do daily exp quests, you should get 1-3 lvls everyday if u want lvl faster, take double exp and 1.5 exp item and then grind at enhanced mobs.

    III. Get rich

Part 1. Finding mines in recruit and ice planets, if u open your big map, the crystal looking icon is where the mine at. for specific mining spots, go there http://bbs.aoaus.com/read.php?tid=271

the system will also give hints which area is the crystal mine at

btw, you can earn more money by exchange them at the quest lady instead of just selling them to npcs.

Part 2. Findings BOSS for the boss locations go to http://bbs.aoaus.com/read.php?tid=271 Bosses drop the best weapons in the game, so it is worth the time killing them their spawn time range from 1-3 hours

Captain Daybreak locations: Earth lvl 10 Domier: -55,-614 lvl 21 Cargemiller Plain: -829,357 lvl 30 Andrew surb: same as domier lvl 38 Coniferous forest: 392,1079 they spawn every 3 hours and they drop very good weapons and skill chips

Part 3. Trading You have to know what the trends are in the game just like merchants in real life you probably wont have much time to spend selling your stuff so dont bother with trying to sell stuff that nobody would pay high price for just give them away for free you will make more friends and they might become your future customers saved time = money and lvl too remember the most important thing to a merchant is trust =) you will have much more sales if other ppl trust u and like u

also, if your buyer cant afford the price u r asking just give them a discount, same reason with above =)

    IV. PK

I was hunting earthlings before cb ends... well, I got 28 kills in total all in Earth area, cuz humans nv come to Mars...=/ (I hope ppl who I killed dont hold grudge against me lol) it's a to kill or be killed world...>.
