Left-Handedness - The Search after the Perfect Off-Hand Stafflike Item

You might know, or you might not, but I play World of Warcraft on a(n) RP realm. If you don't know what that means, you might want to look "Roleplay" up on WoWWiki.

I've had this idea for my character for some time, and decided to try it out for once: A left-handed character. In case you didn't notice yet, when you hold something in your main hand in WoW, it shows up in the character's right hand, and when you hold something in your off hand, it shows up in the character's left-hand. So what did I do? I bought the first held-in-off-hand item I found that looked like a staff. A [Runic Stave]!

But now comes the problem: None of the held-in-offhand stafflike items look cool like [The Staff of Twin Worlds] or [Terestian's Stranglestaff] or the [Fleshling Simulation Staff].

Any suggestions?

...being in WoW, that is. I've got enough things to do anyway, but should I keep my subscription so that in case I decide to come back I'll still be able to, or do I let my characters rot in an unpaid account for several months?

Should I quit, or should I stay?

And if I stay, should I level a druid or a paladin, or even a warrior?

I'll try to refrain from making murloc noises this time...

...And They Always Capitalize Every Single Word Even Though It Is In The Middle Of A Sentence. Besides That, They Seem To Put Punctuation, Randomly In Their Sentences... They Completely Avoid Using, Any Contractions, At All And Use Absolutely No Acronyms... And No Slang!! At All!!!

i hate it when people dont capitalise or spel correctly when they are writeing i also dont like it when they dont use commas and fullstops n they keep usein abbrs u dont no what they want from u cuz their text doesnt have punct at all cuz they r lazy or they r not sure wer 2 put it so they dont put it @ all cuz they r fraid if they do and it is wrong then other ppl laugh @ them n tell them that they suk @ english cuz they dont no wer 2 put punctuation n wer 2 put capital letters

PHP vs Ruby on Rails

I don't really know what to decide! Ruby on Rails looks so freakin' awesome, but I know PHP so well already! ARGHghghghg!

Besides that, I'm having lots of trouble just configuring everything right on my Mac. I wish Mac OS X 10.6 would come with a built-in package manager or something. It'd make my life a lot easier.

Guess what? I was right when I predicted that half my AddOns wouldn't work now with patch 3.1.

I still don't get why they changed all those API things. When I looked at the changelog, I noticed that half those changes were quite unneccessary and/or already had well-known workarounds.

As I said before, I'll scribble down a thought or two once in a while. So here's what's on my mind today:

As you might know, or maybe you don't, I am the one who created Arcane Workshop. Of course, now with the patch out it most likely has a gazillion* new bugs... Curse you Blizzard for breaking so many addons every patch!

What more, I've already started to work on Arcane Workshop II (from scratch, mind you!) so I can't be arsed to change my old Arcane Workshop code. (Which would look like a donkey's backside at best... I hate how my kludgy code looks.) Sheesh!

And as if that's not enough, I bet they broke compatibility for at least one of the following AddOns I use:

ArkInventory,
Auctioneer,
Cartographer,
FlagRSP, and/or
T&B's Environment Emotes AddOn.

But maybe I should be so pessimistic before I read the patch notes. (Yeah, didn't install it yet. BitTorrent doesn't seem to like my computard** that much.) I'll regain my right to pessimism once I read the UI patch notes thoroughly.

I doubt I will really need this blog, but hey, it's free, it's effortless, and I can't be bothered to delete it now, so I might as well scribble down a thought or two once in a while.
