Patch tomorrow (Thursday)

If you missed what happened to the scheduled patch today, it was posted by Senior Community Manager Olive "Tarib" Kunz that its been delayed to tomorrow thursday July 10, at 11:00 A.M. GMT/ 7:00 A.M. EDT.

Reason of the delay is because of an issue identified by Funcom's Quality Assurance department. Furthermore, mr Tarib told the community that the various fixes (quite a few!) that the developers are working on for the game are "coming along nicely".


What's your thoughts on the delay? Did you plan to play Age of Conan tomorrow? I see it from the bright side, at least we wont have to deal with whatever serious bug it was that the QA department discovered, so it's worth the extra wait and downtime on Thursday.

    I was done after the first month. Their billing system crashed which prevented me from getting my subscription updated. The result was an "Oh well". I'll come back in six months.

    I was playing, but I now have too many broken quests to count, my female melee toons still attack 30% slower than males, and my necromancer and dark templar are both still being nerfed to hell and back. Switched to DAoC for now in preps for WAR.

    AoC works fine for me till now..so no reason for me to stop it. i just take it slow...no rush to get to lvl 80 or anything. besides after WoW i dont wanna fall down to a new addiction... i play casualy aoc and have some RL fun..till time comes that AoC surpase any of the major problems so i can burn my brain again! ;)

    You guys are quite sad and pathetic...

    I"m not sure what you expect from a newly released game... Patches are going to come out, and luckily for us end users, Funcom seems to be on the ball with update patches... With every patch come much needed changes, even tho some of you might whine and cry nerf....

    You all *** and complain about these games not being as good as War... i seriously can't wait for War to come out and have it be a bomb release just like WoW was back when it came out.... Then all the lil babies crying WAR will have nothing else to stick in they're mouths to calm them down...

    You all have your expectations set way to high.. It's one thing to have an idea of what kind of direction you'd like the game to head, but it's another to expect it to be there right away...

    GIve it time, jesus christ... this is a good game with plenty of promise... For those of you bitchin bout broken quests, well most of them have been fixed, you just probably havn't gone back to them, or played since... And the female attack speed issue isn't 100% crippling... my main is a female hox and i still pwn the faces of most pvp encounters I face, and i'm 75 so lvl'n isn't an issue.. I realize this is not an intended gameplay mechanism, so i know they're going to change it, it's called PATIENCE!!!! New concept 2 most i know....

    Get over it...

    PS. Deadage, nice 180 in your view on things from your post in the "What a joke!!" thread...
