You're probably talking to a lot of WoW fanbois.

To be fair, though, the number of initial sales means less than the number of long-term subscribers in gauging a game's quality.

the game is fun to me, mostly becuase its new but straight off the bat there were things that bothered me and made me not what to go ahead and say this game will take off.

The first issue, and one that many people down play is the graphics, you need a good graphics card, NOT a decent graphics, but a good one.

The second is the adult content. There are a whole lot of mature explicit stuff in the game that does throw you off if you have kids playing it. It's too early to say the game is trash, but there are a heck of a lot of trashy stuff in the game.

Third is the openess, with the instancing, and how quicly you find out how small the world is, the game kinda becomes confining.

Only time will tell how this thing comes out.
