BattleForge Announces New Renegade Campaign

BattleForge has two new maps now available to players! These two maps represent the beginning of the Renegade Campaign, the game’s first free content pack for fans. The new live campaign will have players traveling south, deep into the Wastelands where they will follow the adventures of the white Juggernaut Mo – a monster with a dry wit and a heart as big as his appetite.  He searches for his only friend, the savage orc Twinaxe, while his arch enemy, the vicious Captain Blight hunts him across the Wastelands, obsessed with taking down the White Juggernaut Mo.  Along their adventure, they come across the trail of the greatest treasure ever known, the stolen treasure horde of the giants.  With ogre witch doctors, flying ships and one angry Juggernaut, the Renegade Campaign is filled with adventure at every turn. More Renegade Maps will be released at the end of May.

Blight

This four player map sees the Skylords freeing enslaved prisoners from the fire people. Moon believes that the scattered and leaderless fire tribes need the help of the Skylords, but her intervention resurrects an old evil. Here we meet Captain Shane Blight, an insane pirate captain willing to sacrifice anyone or anything to take his revenge on Mo, the white Juggernaut, to whom he lost an eye in an old struggle.

 

 

Mo

This single player map follows the White Juggernaut Mo as he embarks on the search for his only friend, Twinaxe. His journey takes him to the wasteland border, where he finds out that his friend and comrades might have been taken as slaves by wasteland bandits. But as he meets a strange, flying pig and black pirate ships under a red raven flag, he knows that he is going to be drawn into a much grander tale as an old arch enemy is back to hunt him.

BattleForge

BattleForge is a new title that was just released by EA  on March 24th. The game is very unique in the fact that it incorporates RTS and MMORPG play styles. In the game you use cards to summon creatures to fight for you in your quest to dominate a typical RTS fashioned map. Each map has Monuments and Power Fountains where you will draw your energy, which is used to summon your creatures, buildings, and cast spells. There are four different deck colors to choose from, red, purple, blue, and green. Each deck has a slightly different gameplay style and certain strengths vs. other players. You can also mix color decks and upgrade cards to have better stats.
