Blizzard hints at New Game?

A new splash page appeared this morning on Blizzard official site, and last time Blizzard did something similar they announced Starcraft 2 at their World Wide Invitational 2007 in Korea.

We will know for sure the meaning of that splash page at the Blizzard World Wide Invitational in Paris this weekend (June 28-29), and we will of course live report the announcement from the WWI.

    What could it possibly be? =O Hope it's a good game, hehe

    I just came back to edit and put on another thing, it could have something to do with Wotlk, I mean, it is ice.

    Well... Taking into account the date... Could this be the announcement of the much-awaited-and-wished-for-every-christmas-by-true-blizzard-diehard-fans

    DIABLO 3?

    Or maybe they just wanted to say something fancy about Wrath of the Lich King...

    Maybe (not very possible), a Warcraft 4 with some whole new lore?

    Maybe a pandaren race in it?

    with the 2008 Worldwide Invitational to Paris in France on 28th june 2008 I think it's just about to publish the wotlk release date, nor to reveal something unknown but still on wotlk I bet.

    I have taken a look on the source and i dont understand what the javascript is doing...

    http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/tournament-splash.htm is the url that flashes on the "us" site,, as far as I can tell (unless i need to cleartemp files/ cache / cookies) the us site does not have the ice splash yet

    hmm,ive looked at the picture mine626 posted and all it looms like is a uF in the center or something else.But i think its just has to do with the release.

    Seems to me that it would indeed be the announcement of WotLK. Looks like ice and stuff so hopefully they will announce a release date on WotLK. We'll know this weekend i guess :)
