A new splash page appeared this morning on Blizzard official site, and last time Blizzard did something similar they announced Starcraft 2 at their World Wide Invitational 2007 in Korea.

We will know for sure the meaning of that splash page at the Blizzard World Wide Invitational in Paris this weekend (June 28-29), and we will of course live report the announcement from the WWI.

If you look at this picture, the first one that they released...

compared to the new picture for today, the second day the picture has been out...

they are 2 different pictures. The second picture is opening more in the middle and there are extra rune symbols noticeable in the ice than before. weird?

Its the 2nd picture showing a little more withe glow in the middle but look at the end of the link, 11_04? maybe its WoTLKs release date :O Btw I'm only guessing

If you look at what the lich king is standing on on http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/ it looks _exactly_ the same as the splash screen has runes in the ice etc.
