The 2008 World Wide Invitational is soon here. Today Blizzard posted information on how to view the WWI live via video streams.

    Btw, I know the tables are a bit messed up, hopefully when we relaunch Curse.com "soon", that wont happen with the new site.

    Please please please please whatever you do DO NOT CUT AWAY FROM THE MAIN STAGE TO GO TO THE BORING-ASS TOURNAMENT STAGE! You made that mistake last time. I really don't want to see the tournaments they are a snorefest.

    Luckily it looks like they have 2 streams: 1 for the main stage, othre for the tournament

    The times for the US live streams (Opening Ceremony : 11:45AM CEST)

    Pacific : 3:45AM
    Central : 4:45AM
    Eastern : 5:45AM

    wow, LOTS of issues trying to connect.

    videos wont play on low resolution for longer then a minute, wtf is this?

    Lol with the amount of people trying to connect to these streams it isn't surprising there are some issues with them. Also gamespot said there was some trouble with the wifi over there.

    ok, for some reason, I can't get anything, I have the octoplayer thing, but when I click on the stream links, nothing happens, what's going on? i downloaded it, installed it, and restarted the browser, but nothing happens

    For those who missed it:

    Announcement of Diablo3 and some in game footage, and some people playing with fire. Dont be sad, wasnt much to miss!

    I bet the boys over at diablofans.com are cleaning there pants atm.

    any1 else had this problem?
    installed octoshape bla bla... the rest u know anyway, then i clicked on blizzards live stream and octoshape started to download updates O_o ... after 2 popups which sayd downloading updates the 3rd came and sayd: Could not contact update server. Please check yout Internet connectivity. annoying i tryied everything .. like disbaled my firewall (ESET Smart Security, WinXp SP2 Firewall) no chance, it happends the same all the time, over and over again. i read the faq on http://www.octoshape.com/faq/faq.asp#couldnotcontact doesnt help much...
