Battle.net 2.0 Speculations

Blizzard is currently working on the two much anticipated games StarCraft II and Diablo III as everyone most likely is already aware of. That they will become popular is probably a given to everyone, which means Blizzard's online service Battle.net is in need of dire revamping to handle the increased player base. Exactly how Battle.net 2.0 will be like is unclear currently, however Pxl Lab dare to "speculate" about some of the news.

We're quoting them straight off and want to remind you that it's still too early to set any of this information in stone and as such it may or not be the how Battle.net 2.0 will be like.

Post any more ridiculous speculations why don't you.

"Excellent ping?" Do you know what influences ping? Load. Yes, "load". More players equal worse ping by definition. It's a matter of resources that dictate how decent your ping will be. And the bottom line is, if your connection is crap / your bandwidth is filled, your ping will be crap.

The rest is equally uninteresting to speculate about at this point. It's minor additions to existing features. Of course they'd try to improve on them.

"Clan support," pfft. You're wasting our time.

Hope there will be a built-in refresh. And the ability for the host to move people around pregame.

This is kinda silly... since previous incarnations of Battle.net had all these features already. IT WILL HAVE WHAT IT HAD BEFORE!
