It wont be Diablo 3 because the majority of the team that created the Diablo series left Blizzard and went on their own to create a new game coming out soon called Hellgate: London. Which actually looks pretty interesting.

Either its "World of Warcraft: Northrend" or its probably gonna be Starcraft 2. If none of those theories work, since the fact that Blizzard makes RTS games alot they are probably gonna make: Diablocraft lol :P

None of the expansions for any of the games Blizzard listed on the timeline have their expansion packs listed, which makes me think it probly won't be an expansion for WoW but a new game, hopefully Blizzard don't try to support two MMO's at once and just stick to WoW.

I agree with Jakobd that it is not going to be another Expansion because none of the other's are on their from SC to Diablo to even the WC2 Expansion so I believe that is ruled out. My guess is that it is either SC 2, which would be nice, hopefully its not that starcraft ghost project that they were working on and eventually gave up on or perhaps that are going to create a whole new rpg or rts that isn't dealing with diablo, sc, or warcraft which could be interesting.

I think that SC2 would be awesome...it is the only real title with no sequel. But it is likely to be Blackthorne. They have recently (ie, 1-2 months ago) gained/regained the rights to the name for commercial games. So it is very likely.

I am just going to sit back and wait.

As for the MMO, it will likely not be this title...but one is coming.

1. 1 cant be Diablo 3 b/c the programmers quit blizz. in turn they whet to flagship and made Hellgate http://www.hellgatelondon.com/
2. 2 Starcraft 2 seems to be the new game manly b/c of blizz con there was a lot of Starcraft related materials there including Starcraft Ghost (they scraped this game)

Just because the programmers have gone, doesn't stop more being hired. I think it's niave to belive Blizzard would let go of the Diablo francise after such a success.
