We received an update from Call of Solum today, which we're hosting the client for in our free-to-play section! The game is available to EU players, and is currently in closed beta and just had a successful 2nd beta event! They've given us an update on the game and attached a few screenshots from the events this past weekend! In the near future they're going to be giving out nearly 50,000 beta keys (Don't worry we're working on getting some!) to users for the next beta event. They're also implementing a new anti bot system known only as "The BomB" - so we'll see how that turns out!

Here's the exclusive screenshots and of course the official 2nd Beta Notice from Call of Solum:

Ys Online - 2nd Closed Beta has had a successful launch!Iin the near future for Call of Solum:

Ys Online: The Call of Solum

Ys Online: The Call of Solum is an MMORPG based on the famous Ys series, created by the Japanese company Falcom. Since its first title for the 8 bit generation, it has since been turned into several manga series, OAVs and even a novel. Now, Falcom and CJ Internet are proud to present Ys Online: The Call of Solum, the new title of the series. This time the Ys experience is moving online, with the classic manga look that has become a key characteristic of the series.

    Lore Introduction

With the Man of Wings’ ascent to the sky, chaos reigned in the continent of Eresia. The central region known as Europa was divided into two opposed realms: Romun, dominating the centre and South of the region and Etruria, in the North.

After one hundred years of constant war across the land, several kingdoms fell, one after the other, against the fearful monsters emerging from the chaos. In the end, 12 soldiers of the different races, the Eresians, Kimoans and Afrocans, joined Grey the Hero, to defeat the monsters and establish a new empire under the name of Romun that spanned the continent.
