Hey everyone,

The last week Curse.com have had several issues with anything from image uploading to images not displaying and video uploading, problems with downloading files and several other problems including issues with news not displaying correctly and also videos sometimes not streaming.

Our developers have been actively working on fixing all the problems with the site since they were first discovered and they feel that most problems have been resolved.

Summary:

  • Image uploading should now work correctly
  • Media uploading should now work correctly
  • Viewing images when logged out now works
  • Downloading files should work a lot better now, no really, it does!
  • You should be able to download files via the Curse Client
  • If you previously experienced problems with streaming videos -- it should now work
  • Video uploading should now work correctly (for real this time)

If you discover anything that still might be broken or not function as intended, please let us know.

    We're actively working on improving the client. Thanks for letting us know about your problem. We take all feedback reports very seriously and strive to make the client the best there is.

    Your data is all there and waiting; we're putting the finishing touches on character profiles now for WOWDB, and trust me, they're well worth the wait from what I've seen so far.

    Once character profiles are live, everything about your character will be displayed -- nothing should be lost or erroneous. :)

    We're still looking into this. Trust me, it's annoying for me as well. We'd like to have it fixed as soon as possible. We are sorry for any problems it's causing you. Rest assured, we're working on a fix. Thanks for telling us about your problem.

    I can download addons and such..but as far as characters and so forth..there is nothing. I have a profile with a profile pic and that's it..No characters or any other uploads.

    Everytime I try to log into Curse Client Iget the message failure to log in. Why is this if I can log into my curse account.

    I just got a new PC thatis running Vista Home Premeum. The old PC had the curse client b.s. installed but I had the same character profile upload & viewing issues that every one else was having. Yes it was on there @ 2 1/2 weeks wasting memory space. Since I got the new PC I've been keeping up with my updates using the e-mails about my favoites. What I'm wanting to know is ther any way we will know this problem is fixed befor i insall the client again? I just have this thing about using things that are broken lol. Other than that ty for the time all of u take keeping the addons up 2 date so I can spend my time gaming.

    As for login issues, please double check your login name and password.

    now that i downloaded curse and 2 addons from it to wow i can no longer chat on voice chat...any reason this may be?

    Some of the files I tried downloading told me that they no longer exsisted or I couldn't finish the download. My pictures wouldn't upload properly.

    The issuses of downloading and image uploading are still there, when i try to download it shows the download process but the files never make it to my computer. And if i try to upload an image it doesnt even take it while saying it has.

    likewise with character. every time i try to get character it takes me to client download page i have client and i leave it running played for 4 hours yesterday and 3 today still nothing

    ok i see zyuu keeps posting copy from another thread stating .."when goes live"
    indicating that character info is not even available yet. despite the fact its advertised as working. should chnge that to coming soon!:)
