Firstly, our Image gallery has undergone an extensive revamp to the browsing pages, as seen here. The new version of our browse pages allow the display of additional images on each page, and include more information for that image: rating, number of comments, number of views, name, and the member who uploaded the image.

You can also sort the gallery with a number of filters in the new gallery navigation menu to the left. If you want to only view the Top Rated Screen Shots from this week, then you can.

The other change goes hand-in-hand with the Video change, which is a newly redesigned display page. Using the video I'm So Sick as an example, the "About the Video" section can be expanded to display all of the various codes to share the video on Curse, through HTML, and on BBCode-supported forums. You can also see the number of views, comments, and members who have added the video to their favorites here.

There are also two new boxes which can be expanded and collapsed at your leisure, which display additional videos or images from the channel, and a second which displays related videos.

Finally, under the video/image you have a link that lets you add to your favorites, the rating bar, and a list of recent ratings by members of the Curse community.

We're still not done improving these sections - especially the Image gallery - so community feedback is invaluable in this process. If you have any ideas for improvements, please visit our Feedback & Suggestions forum.

You'll notice your search results appear in a tabbed display. Each section of the website with relevant search results will appear on a tab, and clicking between them or sorting will be instantaneous.

Please give us feedback on the new search functionality. We're currently in the process of improving the relevance for certain results, but we definitely want to hear everyone's opinions on it.

You can check it out yourself if you'd like by visiting the Vanguard database, but here's an example search for everyone to see just how accurate and fast the search is compared to the past, as well as sorting being near-instant now.

It's also implemented on our World of Warcraft database, but it hasn't been fully refined for WoW-specific searches just yet.

This will be coming to item and creature pages as well, not just the general database search. Feedback and suggestions on the changes are welcome, so please visit our Feedback & Suggestions forum if you have ideas for ways to improve the database search. There are a few IE bugs with it that we know of; Zinor will be fixing them before we consider this in a "live" state.

Check it out and let us know what you think!
