Position: Web/Graphics Designer

You will work on the development and implementation of various projects, they may be site redesign, product launch, new services, and implementation of various types of marketing, advertising and partner agreements.
To accomplish these tasks, you will work with Business Development, the web product team and IT.
Candidates must have the following skills/traits:
- Bachelors degree in design or similar
- 2-3+ years demonstrable experience in Web design and development.
- Experience doing visual design work for a medium to large-scale project of medium to high complexity
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Experience with front/back end integration (Django templating is a bonus)
- Committed to owning projects and driving them to successful completion on time and on budget
- The ability to take design concepts and extrapolate how to execute them efficiently against several different types of templates
- An interest in video games, media and entertainment
Technical:
- Demonstrate understanding of Web technologies and applications, including: HTML, XML, XHTML, CSS, etc.
- A working knowledge of web production technologies and techniques (DHTML, Flash, and AJAX , CSS, etc.) and their design implications
- Adobe Creative Suite software, web standards-based design and Flash.
- Proficiency in Quark, Illustrator, and Photoshop required. And Acrobat and InDesign a plus.
