Curse

Stability Issues

Once again, patch day has hit us and we have been experiencing some stability issues. Our development team has been working dilligently on resolving this, and we believe we have located and fixed the source of the problem(s).

To add onto that, we have also brought online a few extra servers to help balance the load with hopes that you may continue to enjoy Curse through the patchday in a smooth and stable fashion!

Indeed it does, but Blizzard gets paid a lot of money to keep their servers running perfectly. ;)

Sounds like something Blizzard would say when they didn't have their shite fixed decently ;)

I just love to see people like Becoming and KeeZnl post such helpfull things.

Of course eveyone knows they are experts at code and are perfect in everyway. Maybe Bliz should hire them so we never have patch day issues again.

We are working on the downloads links right now, sorry about that, we are pulling 500 000 page views an hour right now.

Thanks for your hard work. I know how difficult it is to get all of that code rewritten.

@NeT Not complaining, actually kudos to Curse staff for running such a complex web site with so few issues :) Download servers going down is something that you can expect after such a huge patch.

You're doing a great job, and you have a wonderful site!

I have having trouble downloading FuBar addons for WoW this morning. I keep getting the message PAGE NOT FOUND when I select any mirror site. Help!

Thanks, and keep up the good work!

    A brief update:

Currently the problems some of you are experiencing with the downloads lies with the actual download servers, rather than the site servers. Heavy traffic is currently causing some technical issues that we hope to have resolved shortly.

On a sidenote, thanks for the supportive comments -- on behalf of the entire Curse team we appreciate it!

I would also like to take this opportunity to let you guys know that we will soon be announcing some major improvements and changes to the site that we feel will further improve your experience here at Curse -- so stay tuned!

@blaakwater: FuBar addons are listed on www.wowace.com, get them from there, they are the most recent ones, as wowace.com is the offical Ace2 sanctum.
