Cool, now I won't have to use both Curse client and WoWAce updater. Altho.. I do like the WoWAce updater more because I can update all their mods with just two clicks.
It would be great if Curse client could show updates on the installed addon list and have an "update all" button.

Is there ever going to be a reverse case? Curse AddOns avaliable on WoWAce?

I agree with Ahac, in that I prefer the WoWAce Updater over the Curse client.
If the curse client is improved then sure, do-away with the WoWAceUpdater for sure.

agree with ahac and psyker7 the wowace updater is ALOT better than the curse client imo.
This is a great alliance, but an improvement of the curse client to work like ace updater would be awesome!

I would argue against saying one is "better" than the other -- the Curse Client has an entirely different feature set and functionality than the WoWAce Updater. Don't get me wrong -- the WoWAce Updater is a great application -- but the client does quite a bit more than just update AddOns.

In regards to it functioning like the WoWAce Updater; that isn't really possible due to the sheer number of files hosted here on Curse, so I doubt you'll ever see the Curse Client function the same as the WoWAce Updater.

That said, we're definitely looking into ways to make the client better overall -- not just when it comes to AddOns. We want folks to feel that they're getting value out of the client above and beyond just using it when patch day rolls around -- which is what "AddOn Updaters" are typically only useful for.

I tried going to the site today, but all I get is the same page as Files.wowace.com I can't use the installer anymore.
