wonderful implementation of something like this :) i think this will be a very good feature since i rarely download any exe file because most can contain a virus or keylogger

every time I log onto the curse website, I keep getting some popup or something trying to do stuff to my computer, it seems to call itself Drivecleaner, my firewall blocks it, but its damned annoying...

thalador your problem is in spyware wich you get from fake tool/site called drivercleaner/drivercleaner.com. Proper tool and site is drviercleaner.net and program wich is free of scams is drive"R"cleaner. to fix problem: 1. instal new antivirus(avg etc), antyspyware(spyware terminator) 2.update them 3. log on in safe mode and scan pc with them

I have to say, VERY good move IMHO. I have been consistently apprehensive about downloading and using any "mod" that isn't actually lua that limits itself to in-game effects. This will ease a great deal of that concern. This kind of focus on the gamers is why I don't bother looking for my mods anywhere but Curse.

Apologies for replying to myself but after deleting the batch files out of my archive, the upload went smooth and no tsk-tsking about executables, so yes, apparently it is the batch files.
