Curse of Progression

    Dancing with Kil'jaeden

Warfare (http://blackhandwarfare.com) killed the Eredar Twins, Alythess and Sacrolash, almost 2 months ago, on the last night of a raid week, and started work on M'uru the next week. In theory.

The theory? That you can actually have all the members of a viable raid makeup for one of the might tightly tuned fights in the game all present on a given night, without having massive connection issues, randomly going afk without warning for 20 minutes at a time, storms raping their net connection, etc.

Around 6 weeks of work on M'uru, averaging 2 or 3 nights a week of -attempting- to work on M'uru. Wait, one tank short that night? I guess we farm Sunwell Trash and then do a soft reset, hope and pray we have someone we're missing log on . . . and maybe, if we're lucky, we'll get another pair of Boomkin gloves. *eyeroll*

So, finally, most of the last 2 weeks, we've been able to get some solid, real nights of multiple attempts on M'uru. This week, we got several solid phase 2 attempts (Entropius). Then tonight, Sunday, we show up . . . and one-shot M'uru/Entropius. Fairly unexpected, and caught most of us a touch unprepared for what followed next: Kil'jaeden. (Of course, as usual, no freaking Warlock-useful loot from M'uru. God I hate our drop luck in Sunwell.)

Definitely happy to be done with M'uru (for this week, anyway). Kil'jaeden is a more varied, more fun fight thus far, and we're already making solid progress on him. I just hope and pray we're not going to be plagued with the same attendance and connection issues that delayed us at least 2 weeks on M'uru.

On that note, if you're a Sunwell geared raider on a PvE server looking for a new home (maybe if you're stuck on a previous boss), Warfare is recruiting for a few roles:

    Feral Druid
    Enhancement Shaman
    Holy Paladin
    Holy Priest
    Mage
