Dragonica Online, a game we currently host for download in our free-to-play section, will enter open beta today! The open beta begins today at 2PM PST and will allow players to experience the 2d side-scrolling action that has been dubbed one of the most exciting free-to-play games this year!

There will be several "Day Zero" events held today that will begin as the clock changes over to 8/19/09, literally right at 12 AM PST. Players can win one of over thirty Dragonica Online Scrolls.

Details for the event and prizes include:

1. First to Fight

Details: Race to create one of the first ten characters on Day Zero.

Prize: Ten (10) Dragonica Online wall scrolls, one per winner.  

2. Second to None

Details: Battle your way to be one of the ten highest level characters on Day Zero, based on amount of experience.

Prize: Ten (10) Dragonica Online wall scrolls, one per winner.

3. Third and Up

Details: Earn one of the top three scores for the Vagabond Mission Map on one-, two-, three-, or four-star difficulty at the end of Day Zero.

Prize: Twelve (12) Dragonica Online wall scrolls, one per winner.

THQICE has announced the start date for the North American Dragonica Online open beta! The open beta will begin August 18th and offer several fun events and in game items to players who play during this period. Items include:

• Odellia Starter Pack: Players who create a character during the first week of the open beta text will recieve a special starter pack for their journey through Dragonica!
• Dragonica Online Loot Hunt: Play Dragonica Online and hunt monsters to receive special drops for a chance to win awesome in-game and real world giveaways including exclusive Dragonica-themed items and premium prizes!
• Ongoing Events and Contests: Play several in-game events that take place during open beta.
