Dragonica Online Thanksgiving Feast Event!

Dragonica Online has announced a Thanksgiving Feast event! The event will last from November 17th - November 30th and comes with lots of surprises! To celebrate the harvest season in the land of Dragonica, THQ*ICE has a line-up of special events taking place in Dragonica Online. It's important to stay limber before a large meal and the Stretching Before Stuffing event is the perfect pre-Thanksgiving exercise regimen! Players will enjoy +20% experience gain on November 17th and 18th during evening hours. On Thanksgiving Day itself, the Turkey Run event begins, granting characters +30% experience gain from November 26th until the end of November 27th.

The Thanksgiving Feast features a special holiday souvenir: the Turkey Balloon. This cosmetic item can be earned by participating in one of two events. Thanksgiving Training challenges players to strive to be the best at in-game cooking or eating. gives players the chance to rack up 100 kills in their Monster Count to receive the special balloon.

Dragonica Online Grand Opening: Giveaways, Prizes, Contests!

Dragonica Online announces their official grand opening! The event will kick off tomorrow, Oct. 15th, and include several in game events and prizes! If you haven't tried Dragonica out yet it's an excellent mix of side scrolling action and smash and bash excitement as you work your way through boss battles, beautiful landscapes, and a rich storyline.

Here's a list of some of the events and giveaways going on during the official launch:

· Emporia War Challenge: players can join their guild members for the top honors as the strongest guild. On opening day, October 15^th, guilds will have to knock down the THQ*ICE guild to win this title in the new guild-versus-guild feature.

· On Guard for Game Cards: players who log in every day between October 15 and October 22 are automatically entered to win a collectible Dragonica Online Game Card.

· Increased Rates: between October 15 and October 18, THQ*ICE will be increasing the size and rates of gold drops and increased XP gain to celebrate the opening weekend of Dragonica Online.

· Around the World in 80 Hours: players must travel to various places within the game world, take screenshots as proof of their journey and then post them in the forums to win prizes by October 18^th, 10 PM (PDT).

· New Dungeon Content: Dragonica Online's third dungeon opens next week! Hidden deep in the Sanctuary of the Gods, the Kundaran Dungeon is designed to test adventurers level 50 and up.

· Loot Hunt: collect in-game raffle cards to win incredible prizes including a trip to Korea, an 8GB iPod Touch, iHome’s iP71 iPod Computer Speakers, and more! With the Increased Rates for opening weekend, the hunt for raffle cards is even more rewarding!

Dragonica Announces Online Loot Hunt For Prizes

THQ*ICE, the folks behind free-to-play MMO Dragonica, sent us details regarding an online Loot Hunt. By playing the game and picking up Raffle cards, players can be eligible for a bunch of different prizes, including iPod speakers, in-game prize packs, and an amazing prize for a winner to go to Korea to meet the creators of Dragonica.

Dragonica Online, a game we currently host for download in our free-to-play section, will enter open beta today! The open beta begins today at 2PM PST and will allow players to experience the 2d side-scrolling action that has been dubbed one of the most exciting free-to-play games this year!

THQICE has announced the start date for the North American Dragonica Online open beta! The open beta will begin August 18th and offer several fun events and in game items to players who play during this period. Items include:

Dragonica Online is a new fast-paced fantasy-action MMO that uses a unique 2D side-scrolling perspective that's incredibly fun and addictive. The game has four unique character classes available to players. Each class has unique spells and abilities to use against the corrupted evil as you battle across fantastic maps and regions in your quest to prevent the Dark Dragon from being released! We have recently recieved and update from THQICE with screenshots for weapons and armor that will be uniquely available to classes too!

These items possess legendary power and grant their users several combat attributes! Each job class also has a distinct armor set that offers specific benefit to their class. Archers specialize in camouflage, warriors sheer power and durability, magicians magically enhanced battle gear, and thieves specialize in agility and stealth!

Game Overview

Dragonica Online is a new fast-paced fantasy-action MMO that uses a unique 2D side-scrolling perspective that's incredibly fun and addictive. They've recently announced new class images of the four character classes available to players! Each class has unique spells and abilities to use against the corrupted evil as you battle across fantastic maps and regions in your quest to prevent the Dark Dragon from being released! We've taken the liberty of uploading some screenshots to our Download Dragonica page! The game is still in beta, and we don't have the client for it yet, but as soon as we're able it will be listed here at Curse!

Job Class Intro

Warrior

Warriors are gifted with sharp combat senses, making them ideal close range melee-based fighters. Always searching for ways to increase their strength and power, Warriors pride themselves on being fully prepared for any encounter and the chance to prove their might to the world. They are expert combat veterans that specialize in using battle armor to boost their abilities in combat, and are known to employ advanced melee attack skills with devastating power. Their extraordinary talents in both attacking and defending make them uniquely qualified vanguards in any battle.

After proving their worth through rigorous training, Warriors can sharpen their attack power as Gladiators or fortify their defensive ability as Knights.

Magician

The path of the Magician is a difficult journey requiring utmost dedication, years of study and true natural ability. Of the adventurers that embark down this path, only those who truly love magic can master the intense discipline of sorcery. Magicians possess wisdom and knowledge beyond their years, and while they may seem mysterious and aloof at times, Magicians are constantly thinking of how to best apply their skills to the task at hand. The Magician’s lack of physical strength is overshadowed by devastating spell casting and potent healing abilities

When Magicians progress far enough in their studies they can choose to specialize in the healing arts as Priests or focus on assault sorcery as Battlemages.

Archer

Deadly at long range fighting, Archers are masters of the bow and arrow. Specializing in one of the most difficult weapons to wield, Archers utilize bows to deal heavy damage from long distances and can unleash quivers of arrows on unsuspecting targets. Their proficiency with ranged weapons allows them to use ambush tactics for lightning-quick take downs. With sharp reflexes and intuitive combat senses, Archers can be depended on to defend allies from any position on the battlefield.

After increasing their skill sufficiently, Archers can obtain mastery over the bow as Hunters or become expert wielders of the crossbow as Rangers.

Thief

Avoiding fair fights at all costs, Thieves instead rely on stealth and agility to gain advantages on opponents. As close range combat specialists, Thieves ambush their prey using sneaky tactics and evade incoming attackers with their uncommon quickness and dexterity. Thieves have no equal in hit-and-run guerilla warfare and are the ultimate tacticians of all job classes. Razor-sharp claws and keen awareness of their environment make Thieves dangerous yet valuable companions in combat.

Once they’ve increased their combat skills, Thieves can graduate to elite job classes that specialize in deception and confusion as Tricksters, or underhanded battle tactics Assassins.

The game has been out in China under the name Dream Dragon, and has become extremely popular.
