    Elgrud and his WAR Party

So, I now know that I am in trouble.    I've never really had a huge problem with "Alt-itis" -- you know, where you never get a character to max level because you're too busy playing alts.

Well, after playing a few alts, and enjoying the heck out of them.   I'M IN TROUBLE.   I now log in, and have to actually think about who I want to play because I like my alts just as much.  And now, i've made a 4th one.

So, I guess elgrud has some party members now.  First off, we have Grumpkin, goblin shaman who I started cause a friend of mine wasn't enjoying his shaman and decided to start over.  So, I'm going to level this shaman up with them.

Next is one I almost hate to admit what I named him, Malchezaar, which to my defense -- I had just made a whole slew of characters with cool original names, and I just wanted to make a magus.  Not even sure why I chose that name.  He runs around without armor to get all the unarmored unlocks and if I ever get an unlock that gives me the title, "Prince" or "The Prince", i'll be happy.

Finally, the first character I had created to play with my friend instead of the shaman was a witch elf, that is incredibly fun.  Something about just doing DPS and not having to worry about tanking or healing.   Maselina will be my guilty pleasure after a long day tanking.

So there's the WAR party.  Maybe my chosen Raegar will join it soon, as his lamb chops call to me every time i'm at the character select screen.   But we'll see.

    Elgrud - Tier 3

So, working my way through the Tier 3 content, it has definitely slowed down on the xp front.   I find that I need to concentrate more on questing, since the time between scenarios seems to be a great deal longer, and Order seems to be only playing the ones they win most of the time (tamar roc, or whatever it's called).  Not to mention, it's my least favorite because of all the running involved.

I've been working the T3 Dark Elves area and I find there are mobs everywhere, so traveling cross country on a mount is not so feasible because you get attacked left and right.

I did find a Hero spider out doors between one of the first PQ's and a camp of humans.  No one was around to help kill it to see if it dropped anything, but I thought it was an interesting find anyways.  Maybe i'll get a group up to nab him tonight.

There was also another quest that I was working on that the mobs "Seemed" sparse.  Heartroot or something like that you get off of the Terror Spites.   There are a few that spawn right next to the chapter 11 camp, but omw to the warcamp to catch a bus over to where some action was, I found a bunch more, and plan to go back there to finish up that quest.   After I finish Chaper 11, i'll be heading over to the greenskins area to do chapter 10 and 11... then on to Chaos for 10 & 11, which should put me in a good place to continue on to chapter 12 & 13 in all 3 zreas as well.

I'm assuming that will get me to T4, but we'll just have to see.

Well, that's about it for now, and until next time...

So, last night I tried a few more add ons.  AutoLootJunkDump, Mostly Harmless Item Linker Item Linker, AutoRollSelectEr, MobHealth, planb, Chat Alert!, and Orcanizer.

I've got to say that PlanB is by far the most useful one for a Black Orc.   Being able to set up my abilities on sets 1, 2, and 3 saved me so much realestate.   I think it probably increased my dps too.  So, big kudos for that mod.   The rest worked as reported, except the AutoRollSelectEr which was causing me many lock up issues, but I could see how valuable a mod it's going to be, so I can't wait till those bugs are worked out.

Orcanizer was something I thought was a good idea, you know, to make you speak like an orc, but you didn't have to actually type like an orc.  Only problem was that when it did work, I felt like I was doing l33t sp34k or something, and it didn't do enough.   It needs to be really immersive so people know what you are doing.. not that you just changed the s's to a z.  Also, there needs to be a quick switch to turn it on and off.. which there might be, but I didn't know it.

Autoloot - awesome!   Saves me so much time and clicking.  Junkdump could be nice, but there's so much crap out there that is green or white that I want to sell that I usually spend time clicking on a bunch of stuff to sell anyways.   I'm sure that in time, more controls are coming, and of course, me learning any that are already there.

Ok, so I got the mods out of the way.   I finally got to 20 and got my boar.  50% speed increase is awesome.  So much faster to get to places of course!   I'll have to get the auto dismount mod now, because that was the only issue I was having, attack and getting flags while mounted!

So I spent the night in the 2nd Tier Dark Elf zone.  Ellyrion or something like that.  It's a very bright zone with sparse trees and rolling plains of grass as far as the eye can see, with a few mountains/hills mixed up in between.   There are High Elf camps everywhere, and some dark alliance forming between some of those and some dark elves... hmmm...   Don't forget that all elves are the same, just the name is changed!

I also spent a great deal of time in the the scenario for this level.   Phoenix Gate I think it's called.   You capture the other team's flag and kill them to get points.  First to 500 or 15mins later and the game is up.   Having a mount at this level is a bit unfair, but hey, you use what you have.

At the beginning of the night I was just pugging these scenarios and it was painful to not be healed much.   Very painful.   So  later in the evening when I hooked up with some other "Misfits of the Warp" guildmates, I was gettng healed a great deal and staying alive much longer.  Ahhh.. that was really nice!

Anyways, I still had Heroes to watch, so I called it a night pretty early, but all in all, it was another fun night of Warhammer!
