Horrid... hmm, hard to say. I may level a character fresh to see what it's like all the way, as well -- most of my alts are already into their mid-20s or higher -- so my perception could be flawed slightly by the fact that: A) My alt I'm leveling right now is Horde -- a faction I haven't played in a ''long'' time and B) I started the patch at level 46.

Unreal Engine 3 is kind of a big deal

I spent a lot of time reverse engineering the Unreal engine while working on the Vanguard database stuff. It really is a great piece of technology even though the Sigil team kind of hacked it up a bit. It is so well engineered and well structured that understanding how it fits together was easy even without the source code which is a great compliment to the architecture.

If I was making a AAA game I would seriously take a look at what the Unreal engine can do for development time.

Atm I play Rune ( runegame.com ), 7 years old game made on the UT 1 engine, it's still pretty awesome in multiplayer, even the graphics aren't that bad for such an old game.

The trick here is that Rune is a third person hack and slash (melee, medieval weapons) game, which really shows how flexible that engine was.

Unreal Engine 3 is kind of a big deal

Nice lol I've always thought the UT Engines were amazing but never thought they would be used outside of the gaming world lmao A+ to those guys though ^^

Rumor Central: Battlefield 3 Info Leaked

While it may be true, document intented to Investors usually only contain buzz word, technologies name and sale pitch... but rarely indepth detail about the game itself.

I also remember some video embedding back in v2. Or is my memory failing me ?

1 more thing... it would be actually good to make those videos start streaming when you click on them or the Play button, not this way - they start streaming as soon as the page loads. That way users don't need to waste unnecessary bandwith (especially if there is more than one video embeded).

Maybe you could also make people able to embed youtube videos ? Sure, it could be abused, but so can this.

If you ever gonna do the youtube thing though, I wouldn't allow it on the forums.
