Thinking back now, I think Thunder Bluff was my first exalted faction. The drive to be the first undead with a kodo on the server.

But like most things, I slacked and even though I was exalted with Thunder Bluff I didn't manage to get a kodo until, the patch (I forget which), came out that allowed you to buy the mounts with bg marks.

But I do remember, when I got my first mount.. The fel steed.. at that moment I set out to explore the entire WoW map. and I managed to discover most of it.. At level 41, only sections of wpl, epl, and silithus were left undiscovered, (because of the mobs).

I became obsessed with mounts, trying to have one of each race, and thats where it started. To be exalted with everything I possible could.

The easiest ones were the Horde factions. Orgrimmar, Undercity, Darkspear Trolls, easy done. I farmed for hours, and hours for runecloth. I remember having the worst luck ever with it too. Other guildies farming cloth for whatever reason, and in the same time they got 1 stack I got 3 cloth.

That aside, most of the factions that I got.. gave me absolutely nothing.. more recently Ogri'la, Thorium Brotherhood, Maghar ..

But yea thats how it started. My obsession with having my self.. my character completed. Full skills, full reputations, to me it was the only thing in the game that felt like doing it was something I could do, and that this was the only way to complete this 'game.'
