Well I just wanted to say that I'll be posting a guide for tabard / pets soon.. probably separate posts.

In anycase get your Medallion, and Tabard, now. If you don't you'll have to wait 2 years ... till you can get them again. Just hit up a couple of battle ground's... just one game to get a tabard, and the pet is chance on win..

Now for those who are rolling DK's as main's sorry..

but yea just a reminder get them now.

My Daily Quests

This list assumes you want to maximize your daily gold, and minimize your time, so I took out group quests (like instance dailies) that require more time. It also assumes your character has the following; Ogri'la (Honoured), Netherwing (Revered, aka epic flier), Shattered Sun Offensive (Phases Complete). My average time Completing my rotation is just a little over 2 hours give or take drop rates, pvp, deaths, and respawns. You make 304g 90s from all the quests. As well the list is in the order I do them in, if you feel you have a faster way please, drop a comment. I currently farm these with a prot warrior in fury gear, and a holy paladin, so i'm sure someone can do this quicker.

Start in shat. Check timer on spirit towers, set timer. (usually is like in 2 hours for me, and thats normally when I'm done).
Pick up all the shat dailies (multiphase, attack plans, gaining advantage, mana cells), head to SWP.

1) Spirit Tower Daily - 11g 99s *(Time constraints - Set a timer for when their up next)
2) Gaining the Advantage - 16g 39s *(Dependant gathering profession - Do this while doing everything else)

Pick up the following ... and do in that order.. (well do ley lines while doing the 4 after it obvious)

3) Open for Business - 11g 99s
4) Know Your Ley Lines - 11g 99s
5) The Battle for the Sun's Reach Armory / The Battle Must Go On - 10g 10s
6) Taking the Harbor / Crush the Dawnblade - 11g 99s
7) Making Ready / Don't Stop Now.... - 11g 99s
8) Disrupt the Greengill Coast - 11g 99s
9) Distraction at the Dead Scar / The Air Strikes Must Continue - 9g 10s

Hearth with the scroll of teleportation, and head to Nagrand..

10) The Multiphase Survey - 10g 10s

Then north over zang to BEM.. This is the perfect time to get some if not all of your nether residue quest done. As a herb or miner you can find good paths that run over possible nodes, and get not only more money from getting those mats, but the quest done quickly as well. So even though this is the longest travelling part where you do no quests, you can still make money. once you hit BEM pick up the 4 ogre related dailies and do 'em. For the skinners this is a good time to try and get your residue off the boars, just farm some while doing nether rays.

11) The Relic's Emanation – 9g 10s
12) Wrangle More Aether Rays! – 11g 99s
13) Bomb Them Again – 11g 99s
14) Banish More Demons – 11g 99s

More north for the mana cells. and then after thats done, fly east to Netherstorm, find your nearest favourite BE camp, and slaughter them all!!!

15) Intercepting the Mana Cells / Maintaining the Sunwell Portal - 10g 10s *(I do it for the supply bag, but can swap with a quest below)
16) Sunfury Attack Plans - 10g 10s

Washing the blood off your hands fly south more to Kil'Jaeden's throne, do the quests here.

17) Blast the Gateway - 10g 10s
18) Blood for Blood - 11g 99s

Then head to the ravager ridge, toward shat. After thats done, hit up the bombing over at skettis.

19) Discovering Your Roots / Rediscovering Your Roots - 9g 10s *(Depending on server pop./Bugged mobs)
20) Fires Over Skettis – 11g 99s

Fly you fools! to shadowmoon valley that is, I start by picking up the 4 NW quests below. Then head out and do ata'mal armaments, and deadliest trap after. Once those are out of the way, lay a smack down on some peons. Then head into the mine to collect trolleys, and kill flayers.

22) The Deadliest Trap Ever Laid - 18g 28s *(Dependant on class/skill)
23) Picking up the Pieces – 18g 28s

then turn in your NW quests and fly to shat.. Finish off your nether residue quest if its not done. head into the SWP portal and turn in the roots quest. Hearth back to shat and your done.. easy 304g 90s.

! The Not-So-Friendly Skies... – 11g 99s (2nd worst quest in the game, buggy at times still. Bad drop rate, with a low amount of quest mobs. On top of that need range to pull)
! Disrupting the Twilight Portal – 11g 99s (just so far out of the way, and 20 semi-high hp mobs is meah)
! Halaa Daily - 11g 99s (Very depedant on server, players around halaa and your pvp ability..)
! Battleground Daily - 11g 99s (Unless you get lucky, can take hours to complete)

I'm probably going to post a few more useful things like this in the near future. Just cause I'm getting my characters ready for the expansion. I'm going to be getting a list of things like tabards and non-combat pets, for the achievements. Things you can do now. and not have to worry about it later.. etc..

Well something like that...

anyway.. so theres this thing called work... and about a month ago I decided to go on a vacation for 2 weeks, and their like zomg have to give you a ton of hours cause you wont be working for 2 weeks..

so they did.. out of 20 days i worked 18!.. yay..! im tired.. and sore.. and all that kinda stuff.. i'm like a month late on my articles that I wanted to do for the daily quest..

and yet Im ALIVE!..

I've recently rerolled allie on ner'zhul with some friends from the old guilds I was in.. it makes me happy.. im only liek 33? atm.. but thats fine for me

a warrior of all things.. .. ya know leveling isnt that fun on a pvp server.. i somehow manage to run into every single horde player its really stupid some times...

well gotta get packing and stuff.. just an update for ya'll ..

oh I'll also be posting an ogr'ila faction thing hopefully today or tomorrow..

Point in case the person has some Steamweedle Cartel factions, and the shen'dralar. which is possible for me to attain as well just don't want to spend the time.. Veldock as a character is complete for me..

I have a rogue and priest I'm leveling.. I think one of those will be my new main..

but I take my hat off to this person.. grats.. I wonder how many of us are out there.

Okay so the idea I posted previous about posting detailed information on certain reputations and how to go about farming them etc.. will be posted in The Daily Quest blog ... I have no idea how to link to it.. but it shouldnt bee too hard to search for it..

um I guess this will just be my rambling about certain things I find or did in wow.. maybe not too exciting for people but oh well..

The Last Push

In the next few days veldock will be trudging through the massive amount of mobs it takes to get (at least) friendly with Steamweedle..

Some of you may have noticed that I did stop right before honoured with Bloodsail.. thats because currently once you hit honoured with Bloodsail the only way to get rep is killing the Fleet Master.. or whatever he's called (at the top of the inn).. after that no one knows.. because no ones tried..

With the npc being a 5 minute respawn time, and at level 70 only giving 5 rep per kill... well you do the math..

So I'll leave it at where it is.. and I might just go for exalted SWC

But honestly have this I've had enough of the goblins and the pirates..

I remember back in the day where things used to be fun grinding rep..

Like Cenarion Circle.with a mage friend.. aoe'ing all the pulls entire camps.. and then trying my hardest to get exalted I ended up somewhere around 1.2k away from exalted and my guild wouldn't run aq20 for 3 weeks.. made me pissed (was working at the time could only show for raids and very little anything else).. considering I had the exalted item turn in..

Recently I got exalted with Ogri'la I hated it for one simple thing.. they 'pigeoned holed' you just doing those 4 daily quests.. so if you really wanted to get exalted or needed and item from it or what have you.. well you were *** out of luck.. because it took that set number of days to reach it no matter how much you wanted it..

With factions like the Skyguard and Netherwing, you could do a little of both grinding and dailies.. now that I like cause the dailies are a good source of rep. for the factions.. then if you really wanted it you could keep going and spent the extra time other people that are not willing too.

There was a lot of firsts that I could have attained on my server.. 70.. epic flying.. first drake.. etc.. but then I'd just be like any other Nihilum .. I don't really care to be first of anything.. infact I stopped doing quests at around 68 and grinded the rest of the way to 70

This worked for 3 reasons.. a) It helped get my first outland exalted faction... Sporeaggar.. (sporegalorgalorg.. lol love these little guys).. b) it got me a lot of money.. and to this date I still have over 100 sporeling snacks for my pet.. and c) well it left me with all the quests from Nagrand, Netherstorm, Shadowmoon Valley, and a few from Blade's Edge, and Terrokkar..

And most of you know doing quests at 70 = lots 'o' money... and so I eaisly got within 600g for my epic mount.. in which I just borrowed from a guildie and payed back after some farming..

For those of you really in need of money.. well yes grinding rep is the best way.. Consort.. Mag'har big grind ones like that where you go around and just kill like a rabid animal.. gives you rep, coin drops, you can do your gathering profs (if you have any), and greens.. if you don't readily have a disenchanter to help you with them just vendor for 3g-12g depending on weapons.. but d/e gives you tons of mats to put on the AH for no deposit.. and you get to keep leftovers for whatever you want to enchant with..

So I came out on top every time I went to farm rep..

And I did that sorta thing to get my epic flying mount with my rogue Nanunshinida (yes thats korean.. its acutally a statement .. na nun shin ida .. . i think my brother helped me with the name.. he went to korea).. I grinded the last 3 levels with 'her' and with the skinning/herb profs. I was able to fun the mount with no help from any of my other characters or anyone else's..

I guess that's it for now.. I ramble a lot.. I figure later I'll type *** up about grinding certain factions.. which might be helpful for some..

Been neglecting this a bit, but here I am.

I spent 6 or more hours (unsure really), grinding Booty Bay guards.. with a friend of course.. So I'm friendly with Bloodsail and got my pirate suit.

Note: for those of you who think this is a cool thing in game to have.. its not much granted.. The grind is horrendous, and for Blood Elf's / Dreneai they cannot get the quest for the captains hat.. so just watch that..

Also currently healers helping friends doing this at the moment.. gain Bloodsail rep., while don't loose Booty Bay rep (unless you get in combat with another player).. ending up friendly with both factions.. From what I hear next patch this will be fixed..

For those of you who want friendly with both.. my previous post outlines how via 2 quests. Also you can kill any Venture co. / Wastewater bandits for Steamweedle rep, while not loosing any Bloodsail rep. (1rep per mob.. have fun killing 45,000 to hit friendly)

With that out of the way.. I'm now completely unsure of what direction to take Veldock to.. haveing completely virtually all solo content in the game I might finially once and for all give him up.. and start a new character.. I do have a few alts on the go .. one being a 70 rogue and a fast lvling priest..

... or I could quit..

have considered it.. been playing this game for over 2 years now.. long time..

I'm just hoping blizzard adds more factions soon, or something that I can do.. something interesting.

I wonder if I could get a special in game title from what I've done, faction wise.

Odd thing happened the other day. Leveling my hunter on Ner'zhul (I think thats the spelling), I found a spot in Stonetalon that I've never seen before.. I guess alliance use it to get around mobs/ sun rock retreat.. but still I was pretty confused where I was for a second..

Got me thinking abit about the fact even though I have a level 63 pally on Garona that I don't really play anymore.. I still haven't seen a lot of what the alliance have to offer.. in pve/quest/towns and zone wise.. because I've mainly been on horde because all my friends I met have been horde.

I did (when the expansion was released) roll a few Dreneai to check out the areas.. I liked the look a lot, race, and zone wise... I think I might play some alliance some more what do you think?

With the recent disbanding of my long time raiding guild.. I really don't have much left to do .. I app'ed to a few guilds.. but with the influx of locks recently .. no one needs them anymore.. and I really don't feel like transferring to another server.. I feel veldock should stay with my other characters on Kelogs.

Well that's all I got to say for now.. I've been thinking about the next exp. a lot.. wondering if I should play that long or even buy it.. and just general thoughts.. but thats for next time..

I haven't played WoW, in the past couple of days. Work, side projects, reading, etc.

But I intend to finish off my character with one of the few if not only stupid grind in the game. I plan to finish Veldock off with getting friendly with Bloodsail, and in turn also get friendly with Steamweedle

Previously My character was working its way on getting exalted with all Steamweedle factions for lack of content (before the expansion). I ended up having somewhere around half honoured with all of them.

However few of my friends pointed out that I really should have a pirate outfit. All things considered this grind to be the worst by most people.

Well I decided to take it a bit further. There are 2 repeatable quests in Feralas, in which you receive 25 Steamweedle rep, and no negative Bloodsail rep. ... give that some time to sink into you...

Yes I am insane. If you know anything about the Bloodsail grind, it ends up leaving you completly hated with Booty Bay, and nearly such in all other factions. Therefore at 0/36,000 I would need to do these quests 1440 just to get out of hated.

But the prospect of showing off probably one of the few ultimate faction grinds I though this would be a very apt way to end Veldock.

Thats where I stand today, what I want to finish about the character, sure I'd love to raid some more see more of The Eye, or SSC, but we can't have everything. This servers dying and so is Veldock.. Got to finish while I can.

First Things, First

Thinking back now, I think Thunder Bluff was my first exalted faction. The drive to be the first undead with a kodo on the server.

But like most things, I slacked and even though I was exalted with Thunder Bluff I didn't manage to get a kodo until, the patch (I forget which), came out that allowed you to buy the mounts with bg marks.

But I do remember, when I got my first mount.. The fel steed.. at that moment I set out to explore the entire WoW map. and I managed to discover most of it.. At level 41, only sections of wpl, epl, and silithus were left undiscovered, (because of the mobs).

I became obsessed with mounts, trying to have one of each race, and thats where it started. To be exalted with everything I possible could.

The easiest ones were the Horde factions. Orgrimmar, Undercity, Darkspear Trolls, easy done. I farmed for hours, and hours for runecloth. I remember having the worst luck ever with it too. Other guildies farming cloth for whatever reason, and in the same time they got 1 stack I got 3 cloth.

That aside, most of the factions that I got.. gave me absolutely nothing.. more recently Ogri'la, Thorium Brotherhood, Maghar ..

But yea thats how it started. My obsession with having my self.. my character completed. Full skills, full reputations, to me it was the only thing in the game that felt like doing it was something I could do, and that this was the only way to complete this 'game.'

Veldock started as just a small game with my college friends. Well they kinda left me alone in the game. Since then I have a total of over 200 days played on my characters.

I've played WoW for about 2 years now.. maybe a bit more, and I've done almost everything you possible could solo with my character(s).

Met a whole bunch of nice people.. met a couple of assholes, but thats with everything.

Veldock became to me something more then just a few pixels.. and well that's where this comes in.

Just something to store my thoughts about the game, what I've done, and whats left to do..
