A: The European Union (EU) uses a value added tax system, more commonly referred to at VAT. This makes for general increases in price compared to other countries for similar services, hence the delta in the exchange rate. Q: I live in the US. My friends live in Europe. Can we play with each other online in Hellgate: London?
A: Yes, although you will need to create a separate account for the US and European realms. While our server structure is much larger than traditional MMOs, it is divided by large geographical areas, requiring discreet databases and player server clusters. Of course, with free play in both the US and Europe, it’s a simple matter to have characters no matter on which side of the Atlantic you're playing.
