HA. One of my dear friends who left wow for the almighty warhammer has already returned. I couldn't be happier. And no, I didn't tell him 'I told you so.'

@Kody: You are absolutely right, if Im not mistaken, US players were playing the game 10 minutes after launch, in Europe, it took several days for some of my friends to get access. A large part of the reason I am not playing warhammer right now is because it is GOA taking care of it in Europe, they have been less than competent about it so far.

It's a shame Sams attempts to knock on Mythic with the Europe comment. He shows he hasn't really paid much attention to the game, as Mythic isn't running the game in Europe -- GOA is. It would be the same as blaming Blizzard if there were WoW problems in China, when The9 is actually running the game there.

I played with prepayed card so I´vent to cancel my account. But I left WoW for WAR. And I think a lot of will do so too

They are basing this off of the feedback received in the Account Management section of their website. When you cancel a subscription, it asks why (one option is to state that you are leaving for Warhammer Online). While I'm sure their numbers are not far from accurate, they also fail to mention that some portion of the players who have returned are maintaining dual account subscriptions in both games.

Bullshit indeed...my guild in WAR has 120 people and noone left yet to get back to wow. Plus i never heard of anyone leaving WAR to get back to wow...

This is rubbish :-) If you notice, they've never actually commented on it prior to Warhammer Online, which suggests to me this is posturing on Blizzards behalf. They are worried - as they have stated - that Warhammer may actually beat them at the block in a couple of years.

While I've seen more than the half of my 200 players guild leave AoC in the first month, I can still count on 1 hand the number of player who stopped or plan stopping Warhammer in my alliance (near 500 players). Warhammer quality is up there. No, it doesn't have 4 years of improvement, but definetly more stable and completed than AoC. About people returning to WoW, they always had an high return of player, no matter if a new game is out or not. 1 major point of MMO is playing with friends and guildmate, and if they don't switch with you, you'll return to them. Since most of the people play WoW, alot of people return to WoW. Also note that while Blizzard say that WAR doesn't really impact them, they forget to mention that they are planning to add alot of feature from WAR in WoW regarding battleground and pvp... About the PVP experience and feeling, I really doubt WoW can bring the same level of entertainement unless they provide a huge skill/class revamp. Warhammer offer a completly different dynamic of fight, may it be squirmish or massive warfare. The 2 games aims different targte market, and it's unfair to say WoW is better since player return there. People seeking new pve content will definetly return to WoW. People wanting fun and exiting pvp will stay on warhammer, then everyone is empty. The main downfall of this may be the level of PVP competition of way may decrease if people continue to move to warhammer.
