I myself do miss challenging games PC included not just nintento there isn't anything challenging and please do not say first person shooter i mean i love unreal and many other first person shooters but omfg they do get boring and i always felt the 2d games was tougher because of their timing which was needed over the non skill stuff click and play these days

If anyone knows any titles i may have overlooked which seem challenging and what not please let me know

Druids could benfit from a bit more AoE, though it think you guys are on par with warriors. DK tanks are all about the CDs from what i can tell, they are definetly best used for "LOL WTF" situations, like Mimiron, he sucks. Main problem with warriors over other classes is rage generation, it sucks we have to pay a price for dodge 4 attacks in a row, maybe something that gave us some rage when we dodged like Blizz promised :(

We have a tank of each class. Our dk tank generally never dies, but his tps is pretty low. Our warrior tank is decent on tps and can generally tank most bosses. Our pally tank is our best aoe tank, and we generally use him for tanking multiple adds (i.e. spider quarter trash, razorscale adds, etc). And as the guilds druid tank, I really only tank bosses, as my tps is the highest of all the tanks. Where our warrior averages 6-7k tps, I see around 8-10k tps on average. Ontop of that, i have 50k hp, and our dk tank hits 45k, our war hits 43k, and our pally hits 42k.

My best advice: use the tanks you have in the situations they were built for. Don't try to tank a dozen adds as a war. Let the paladin do what he does best. But then hop on that boss and show him what TPS really means.

Paladins aren't the most OP class out there. You get rocked by a few ret paladins or fail at your class and it's omg they are OP. Roll one yourself or learn to play your class. I as a cloth wearing mage have no problem taking on ret, holy or even prot paladins. Yes, they do have nice burst damage as ret and are pretty simple to play with mostly auto swinging and instant casts. I know while any spec on my paldin a geared elemental shaman that knows how to play its class i have no chance against :[ so maybe roll a shaman if your having paladin issues (this could just be me that failz against the ele shamans with my paladin)

@ Meatpieandwow

Prot paladins do have a huge threat generation however warrior and DK's i've seen keep up without issue in my raids. It could be gear/enchants or even your spell rotation. That is having you so far behind. Try doing some theory crafting and research on how to better generate TPS. Something on the tank note druids still can push close to 60k hp raid buffed while my paladin only goes to 42k :[

You mentioned that fellow being a warrior himself, and that begs a question: Didn't he actually see it during the fight? Can you really confuse any warrior abilities for other? The animation of each ability is unique and if he really wanted to know it was out there, you just have to pay attention a bit=)

Offtopic:

My warrior is too low yet (30) but I built it prot since level 10 and I fight in defensive stance all the time and I totally love it. I don't know why everyone advises the beginners to go fury or arms at the start as I find it amazingly fast and entertaining to level as prot. In a fight against a mob 1-2 levels above me I can get 2/3 HP off of it with one Revenge hit. I never die. I totally love all the abilities that require either shields or defensive stance (or both) like Shield block, Disarm, Shield Wall, Shield bash! (I'm caster hater!^^) Unlike my first attempt to roll a warrior and she was fury and survivability was awful. Maybe that was why i deleted that char. Probably protection is just 'my cup of tea' and that's why I am better at it than at 2H. Just want to add my 2 cents that if you enjoy it as well you can go ahead and level protection warrior beginning from level 10 and not listen to people who say it's terribly boring. Big pulls=fun!:)

So far have only been tanking BFD and Stockades. Holding aggro is fun thing to do. I don't have any blues on me but I make enough gold to keep the green gear up with my level, stacking stamina and strength. BFD was a challenge when it came to beating the crap out of casters (I was below 30 then) but we managed (good they are clothwearers and Sunder armor leaves them completely naked and fast to deal with)

Can't wait to get into really messy places like Blood Furnace=D

When we do a raid to gear up quildies we make sure that all of them agree that everyone has equal rights to loot so we don't argue about Master looter desicions and rolls afterwards. If, for instance, a priest is shadow specced withing a raid but we all know he is only filling a DPS spot due to lack of spellpower, he gets an equal right to roll on items that improve healing as healinng is what he usually does in raids. Same would be for a fury tank who filled a DPS spot as a raid was lacking one. In some cases we just try not to take many same undergeared classes/builds into one raid and try to make two seperate raids instead.

All in all, this issue should be a raid leader responsibility and at least if he decides someone is not worth the drop this decision should be based on something more valuable than a period of time this person was in the guild. I don't think you would join the raid at all if he mentioned in the beginning that newcomers would not have a right to roll on things if oldschool members need. This basically means that he's cheated when he invited you, or wanted to, considering you got the loot after all^^, without letting you know all of this. Why would you be invited into a raid if you were such a bad player (not to deserve a drop)?

That gm fellow definitely lacks sense of logic.

I'd say he got what he deserved - cheat and you'd be cheated)

He then proceeded to invite more people and told them to call me a ninja. Basically, that guild has gone to hell now. I wasnt sure if I were to be putting specific things about tanking, but i guess i could easily. Thanks for reading, and thanks for dropping by.

(PS , i was going to leave anyway because after hearing 8 people on vent go "Ahhh wtf he dosnt ddeserve them" when you were there and you worked as hard if not more them, you really do deserve the loot, it kinda makes your heart sink.)
