    try to download one and look into your browser's download box, click right on the addon you just downloaded and usually it proposes to open the folder where your browser downloaded it...

    If you have the Curse Client installed they show up under their respective game; For example click World of Warcraft and it should have a list of what you've installed, and when you installed it.
