Why do i need this?
Not sure it's a good thing. To me, it's fairly obvious they didn't do much bug-testing. Fresh install of XP MCE, installed the Service Packs individually. SP1 was fine, as was SP2. Installed SP3, restarted, and joyous day! On XP startup, I encounter everyone's favorite friend, the BSoD(Blue Screen of Death). Repeatedly, on every boot, I'd get a BSoD with an immediate system restart.... so I could not even see what the error was.

Thankfully, Service Packs can be uninstalled in Safe Mode.
for the person having probs with the BSOD and not seeing the error try this.
Right Click "My Computer"go to the "Advanced" tabclick on the "Settings" button in the startup and recoveryuncheck the box that says "Automatically restart"
do that in safe mode if you cant boot normally the reboot normally and the system will hang on the BSOD instead of flashing it
or...
Controll Panel > Administrative tools > Even viewer
