Gamasutra, Game Developer Magazine and Game Developer Research division have worked together to compile a list of the top fifty (50) best game developers of 2007. They take ratings, weekly sales and also an anonymous survey where their reputation is taken into account.
The top 20 rankings of game development studios for the first-ever countdown, alongside some of the notable games they released in 2007, are as follows:
