Patch 3.1.0 will soon come out but the main question is how big will the patch be

A more common question for players who have there harddrives full of other inportant stuff.

that is why i am asking blizzard to put a file size information in the test realm patch notes section of all wow-sites

    Update: the number from 3.01 to 3.09 was about 333 so 733-333=400.

    You're forgetting that the first patch that got you on the ptr was updating from 3.01 to the initial ptr build. The number going from 3.01 to 3.09 is about 400. So, 400+61+72= 533, which is exactly what the background download was. I expect no more than another 150 megs and maybe less than that.

    so I'm going to guess about 800+MB.

    And I can't get in the PTR tonight what does that mean?

    As long as it comes out during the week on not on weekends when my guild raids. Dont want to be waiting for the patch to dl when its Ulduar time :P

    Im guessing it will be around a gig.
