This is just a test

Experiment night 1

So after loading up some more addons someone suggested, I start the first night of the test - running Curse Client as a regular user.

Tonight finds me with 2 / 18 addons to update.  I prefer double clicking to update them.  Took about 30-45s.

I'm also running the curse client as a none premium user on purpose. I open it every 2 days and i never have to update more than 2 or 3 addons.

Yeah I've been waiting a bit on the wow front due to a 10 day WAR pass a friend sent me.

I have been using Curse for a while, I do understand the work that it takes to keep these all working, and I don't mind paying to help, but, on htat note, I did some code checking.  THe page has a link to an adware server, about 3 per page, which I am set to block, some of the links do not work, I have reported 3 bugs in some of the more popular add-ons and never recieved any info, they still are buggy, and non of the tickets show up in my profile.  IMHO they should be a bit more honest and let the user decide if they want to help, just say we need cash to keep this running, don't throw addware cookies at the users that got this started, and tell everyone what type of support you get, it is much easier to say you will recieve the support we used to give for free on the pay site to help off set costs, not you will now get support were you never did before, I would rather pay to continue good support, than to pay and see if its worth it.  Now, that all being said, I will buy into this, as I believe is support for the hard work they put in it, and then comment on the facts after the fact, it is pretty cheap, and I will go at it as support the site, not getting a bunch of stuff they could not offer before.  This is a really great site, I tell everyone in my guild to use it, and all to support.  I will update again soon, as I see how well the effort is put in to assist, as in reality, the only issue with this, is the bugs that will and do show up as the game changes all the time.  Keep up the good work, and I hope the site works as well as the software provided.  On a side note, please get rid of the ad-ware, the world is buggy enough with out getting stuff shoved in our machines from our friends.  THanks again.

I had meant to do this, but tomorrow night I'll use an actual stopwatch to time it instead of just watching the taskbar clock.
