Runes of Magic has released a trailer for their new in game...game?

The game is an instance and is called Malatina's Survival Game, we've got an exclusive first look at how this game will work:

In exchange for some special tokens you're allowed to participate in this event once per day. The new NPC Malatina, opens a special instanced dungeon just for you. This won't be easy! You won't find a treasure in every possible location, and often instead of treasure you'll find dangerous creatures ready to do battle with you! You'll also catch your fingers in a few sneaky traps if you're not careful.

This instanced dungeon is a single person adventure dungeon. Daring treasure hunters have 10 minutes time to find the treasures in the mix of creatures and deadly traps, then the hunt will end automatically. The treasure hunters who do their best might receive one of three special titles. To get this title you need to clear all possible places of discovery within the time allowed. In order to obtain all three titles you would have to play the game many times :D

We all know the right gear is the key to victory in Runes of Magic - without it you most certainly face defeat. Until now players could receive these items by defeating enemies, as quest rewards or from crafting. Now there is another way to earn them: Malatina's Dungeon.
