Beta of RuneScape High Detail

Today Jagex unveiled their very eagerly awaited new version of RuneScape. The beta is exclusive to the one million plus subscribers. Jagex is the UK's largest independent games developer and the new RuneScape High Detail version has graphics improvements which uses new technology to enhance the game in full screen through an Internet browser.

RuneScape is a massively-multiplayer online game, set in a fantasy world of warring races, ravaged landscapes and sinister powers. The game is updated twice a months with new content, quests, skills or challenges.

RuneScape remains the 2nd largest free-to-play and subscription-based MMO in the western world, with more than six million active players and over one million paying subscribers.

    the graphics are much better than before. although they arent that great compared to other mmo's, they are almost there.

    Jenova lets not forget that this is Java and a browser based game, JaGEx is pretty much pushing the graphics to the limit that Java has.
