Eh well, I'm just hoping that Death Knight will never be as good at tanking as warrior - I'm levelling one to tank, so don't want these warlocks in plate to take over my job :(

Northrend sounds cool, I don't mind levelling - 60-70 was fun and provided loads of gold, so I'm expecting the same in next expansion. Hopefully they will soon improve 1-58 somehow, because at the moment it's a pain. Quests all over the world and so on.. ended up boosting my own alt o_O

Inscription sounds cool, but I don't want to give up my enchanting :'( Hope they screw tailoring so I can finally get tier X sets instead of grinding all my stuff and instead take up inscription.

Well, that'd be my current thoughts. Oh! No noam DK please :(

Since we had experience in ZG, MC, AQ20 and Onyxia, we gathered people with similar experience and started progressing fast - for a non hardcore guild that is.
In about a month from start MC, ZG and Onyxia were almost totally on farm, then we started progress in BWL, blabla, you all know this stuff. Anyway, made some great friends there, was officer from the start (rogue CL, as that was my main then).

Problems happened before TBC came out - the pvp patch, hated by me, because I wanted to keep progressing (we were at Nefarian) and everyone was like "Oh TBC is coming out, no point" and they grinded PVP to get items (and how is that better? Never figured out).

Quite a few changes came when we got to 70s. I became GM as well, leaded first Karazhan runs (was there with other guild when we didn't have enough yet), changed main to holy priest. Was cool, later we got two groups for Karazhan and so on. Unfortunately, there was a lot of drama and whining going on. I was forums, TS, DKP admin and also rogue/priest CL, GM and raid leader - the amount of issues I had to deal with was depressing sometimes, but I liked helping and tried to please everyone. But you can't do that, especially vs groups of established friends.

One guy from a "gang" wants an item badly, yet we have /roll rule in Kara. No priorities. This guy quit a guild over cloak from Moroes, because he 'deserved' it. All his friends whine. So I jump on forums, make a post to fellow officers - discuss rules of Karazhan loot. Finally, we decided to give all members/raiders priority on rolling (as the whiners wanted, so they new people don't get anything). Yet the whine still occured - "omg he was promoted only yesterday, gief prio".

At this point I gave up trying to talk some sense into the whiners, begged for help from other leaders, to sort issues out. Got none.
After showing up for numerous raids fully potted and prepared and seeing slackers slowing us down (not showing up, no idea about bosses and so on), I started thinking about leaving, because leading this on my own, when I'm not being listened to at all is NOT fun.

So when I made sure that I was pretty much alone in my attempts to keep this together, I left. To a guild where slackers are instantly gkicked, we raid a lot more and all that "pro" stuff.

Leaving a guild isn't easy when you've made some nice friends, but after all, this is a game, I can still keep in touch with them, yet not having to deal with the whiners and kids. That's what I thought.

Flaming began - I'm a hypocrit, didn't do anything to help the situation and just left. Few reasonable ones are still cool with me and just keep playing, but quite a few of those so called friends turned their backs towards me.
