I was once a forum frequenter on the WoW forums in EU...until I got banned. I got banned for some of the single most outrageous things known to man but I got banned none-the-less and my rather short response to this ban was to send an email to the CM team regarding how they are fascist pigs who use the forums as a way of venting their desire for untold power or something along those lines.

Part of me is gutted that I got banned from a forum that lets you say nothing about anything. They treat greeting messages as spam, criticism as spam, class threads as spam. It makes you wonder what happens when these jollied up secretaries find something that actually IS spam. I suspect that multiple people have to be carted out of the office; their contorted bodies reprisenting a scene from The Ring.

Most of me however, is glad I got banned and the reason I am glad is because I no longer have to subject myself to mindless conjecture and, for want of a better word, bulls-manure. Most of it just makes you want to have an irl macro for /golfclap. A LOT of it is based on what I like to call, "no evidence what-so-bleeping-ever," and even more of it is based on the conjecture and bulls-manure from another thread, most likely found on the American forums...because we ALL know that if it is on the American forums...it MUST be true!

The best one by far that I have encountered has to be the guy who complained about the Death Knight quest, claiming that for most players it is to hard core and won't be attainable. That would work...if any details about the quest had been made public...which they haven't...moron.

Oh yes - the idiocy just continues.

edit: I'd just like to point out (so that I can not be accused of mindlessly insulting moderators) that I have moderated a forum for the last 2 years and have never, once had the urge to subject the member (all 3,000 of them) to any kind of fascist attitude. I do genuinely believe that the CMs employed to moderate the WoW forums are guilty of (along with Blizzard) anti-liberalism and are just another sign that corporate policy is beginning to dictate what freedom of speech is. No doubt they are very nice people irl but that does not excuse them from their actions in return for money. The arguement, "I get paid," simply means that your morals are worth a price and therefore are not morals at all and you are a corrupt, two faced pig. These are of course only my opinions.
