TDQ Banner and Avatar Competition Winner!

Well The Daily Quests first competition is over and we have a winner! We went to Kody, The CM here at Curse.com, and asked him to judge the competition on our behalf and he heartily accepted the task. I sent him the entries and I just received his response to the competition.

Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone who took part in the competition. I'd class it as a success and say that we will be running more competitions in the future but what and when they will be we don't know. You'll have to keep your eye out and see what we do.

The competitions were very diverse with all of the entries having a World of Warcraft theme (go figure!) and the quality of the entries was exceptional.

Firstly, our runner up, Bonedead submitted this entry and I felt it deserved and honorable mention as it is a brilliant banner and only just missed out on the top spot. Congratulations Bonedead for a brilliant submission!

Now to our very first competition winner here at The Daily Quest!

I have to say that I couldn't have done better myself and without further ado, here is the winner of the Banner and Avatar competition. I will personally use the avatar and the banner will go on display at the top of anything The Daily Quest does!

Congratulations! Your banner will be the graphical embodiment of The Daily Quest for a long time to come!

    Maybe the ! in THE DA!LY QUEST can be made yellow? I like them both but the yellow exclamation mark would make the World of Warcraft reference even clearer and add some more contrast to the image.

    Making it yellow would mean that the colors would match the colors of the Swedish flag, a country most people know as the most awesomest ever.

    I have to say, it was really hard picking a winner. All of the banners were very well done. Hats off to the talent that everyone who submitted one has. :)

    Well, I'm impressed. I can't understand how I missed the result of the competition. I totally forgot about it for 2 months until I remembered today. It's great honor for me that you chose my banner as a honorable mention. I must say that the winner deserved it :)
