I'm pretty sure that would eat up memory like...I don't know...Vista 64-bit? ;o Overkill perhaps? I mean...do people really need all of those? :-P

I wish Curse had some kind of notepad sectino for my profile. Oh well, I suppose blogging will suffice. The following are the mods that I have installed. Please use them ALL!

Hmm, this is a really good idea. Some kind of "these are the Addons I like" that you can show off to people would be neat. Especially if it gave direct links to download them here on Curse. :)

Missing Favorites

lol Yeah, I went through and favorited them all, thinking they would be available who would come to my portal. I get too many people in guild etc. that are like, "Where's mob named ___?" I say, after a brief MobMap lookup, "They're all at 35, 27". Uh, what?

Thus begins the monumental task of helping a newb get CTMod, his first addon pack, plus Titan. It can be really frustrating! Some people just DON'T understand that Auctioneer does NOT go in the Blizzard_AuctionUI folder, even though it modified the auction UI! In another blog post, I'll probably list the instructions, as clearly as I can, on how to install it. Though Curse already has really good installation instructions.

Another problem was that once I did point another player to a link on my personal website, and he laughed at me, and told me never to redirect someone to my personal website. That's where you get drive-by downloads, keyloggers installed, and accounts hacked. I had never thought about that! So, with my Curse.com portal, this is a good trusted place to redirect players to, and say, "If you want coords with your game, go here, and here's a link to EVERYTHING I have -- with my own descriptions attached of what I like about the mod, and how I customize it."

But then I discovered that favorites are private, so I just exported my folder's contents and posted them.

And uh, yes, I think I have far far far too many mods, too. :) WoW can take QUITE a while to load. :) But, that's kind of what I spent $1500 on my computer for. Considering I have 2 GB, WoW chewing up an extra 96 MB more than default for mods doesn't really change anything as far as my computer's concerned, just makes the loading time a little longer than it ... ideally ... should be. :)

Lastly, a LOT of those are just many folders for different parts of the same mod. You can condense a lot of that list down by counting the following as a single mod:

Blizzard (Which doesn't really count. I mean, come on! They're not mods, they're the default UI!)

CT

DBM

Lightheaded

MobMap

Titan

Xperl

And that's like, half my list RIGHT THERE. Anyways, it's so worth it!
