I agree though; I get angry at times because of something going wrong, but complaining about it is the least likely way to get things fixed - especially if you do it publicly. The best course of action for getting your concerns about the game listened to is through constructive feedback.

I know the WoW Community Team has said this time and time again, but I definitely have to echo it for them as well. I met a few of them at BlizzCon and they really do care about getting the community involved in the design process of the game, but the negative feedback in the form of complaints, nerf posts, etc. really hinders their progress more than it helps.

People complain about anything and everything and even if those complaints are not founded they are still entitled to complain. Some of the CMs do not want to incorporate the fan base in the design aspect of WoW and I can think of two who I have spoken to that are arrogant. At the end of the day however, they are only there because they get paid. While I think a voluntary CM group administered by Blizzard would be a step in the right direction, this is highly unlikely to occur at any time soon so we have to put up with those few CMs who do treat the player base with complete disregard.
I'm not saying they are all like that but none of them have shown me evidence of being able to diffuse issues in the community, merely resorting to, "what I know is what I know but not what I can tell you," lines of approach, which just serve to anger people more even if that anger is misplaced.

My line of approach is to present a problem and leave it at that. They will resolve it their own way and no amount of, "do it now because I pay your wages biatch!" is going to get them to do what you want. there are 8,999,999 other players to consider.

Well...that would be my approach of they hadn't banned me. I must admit I have ranted at them before about stuff before having any evidence. I've grown out of that now.
