Tabula Rasa

Inside the Tabula Rasa Limited Collector's Edition

Those who plan on picking up the Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa Limited Collector’s Edition this fall might want to know what you're going to be getting for the extra cash you'll be spending.

Aside from the game and a free month of play, you'll be getting exclusive in-game items such as a special character emote, exclusive dye recipes, and even a unique pet.

In addition to this, gamers will be treated to a briefing from General British (voice acted by Richard Garriott), classified maps, an Allied Free Sentients (AFS) field guide, Tabula Rasa dog tags, an AFS challenge coin and a poster. NCsoft even thoughtfully included a Making of Tabula Rasa DVD to give gamers something to do during the inevitable downtime that MMORPGs seem to always have.

Executive Producer Richard Garriott seemed very excited about their release of this Limited Collectors Edition stating that:

The Limited Collector’s Edition we have put together for Tabula Rasa is loaded with cool things for players who really get into the role-playing aspect of the game. Regular players will find the maps and field guide useful as they move full-force into the game’s fast-paced action. Other items, like the dog tags and challenge coins, bring home the 'brothers in arms' feeling of this game even when you aren’t playing.

So if you're planning on playing this game, might as well do so in style by picking up this Special Collectors edition. Hey, if Lord General British endorses it, then it must be good right?

I've been thinking about it. I've been lightly following TR since I first heard about it probably 3 or 4 years ago but as with any new game these days I try not to get too caught up in the pre-launch hype and just wait until it comes out. Some solid (80%+) reviews could convince me to pick up the game.

    I'll be in.

I already pre-ordered the CE edition, and playing the beta test as well. The game is pretty solid.

For sure there are still some bug, but illing a few bug report a day can't be bad for the game evolution :) The game offer a new cooperative and immersive dimension to online gaming.

I hope the exclusive dye color will be interesting. For people not in yet, armor piece can be any color like purple... wich is very nice on the battlefield.... that why dye and rare dye are important :)
