Well, true to Deadbetty, I rolled Necromancer (Stygian race) and I think I made a good choice. There are minions of the undead ranks for me to command. Her name is Farideh. I like how I can choose and adjust the appearance of the character to such detail. Just making the character took some time as I decided how to shape her hair and eyes and body. It's a neat and easy to use interface but if you dont want such detailed changes you can randomize or just take the character as it appears. Tattoos, scars and moles are available as well as facial expressions and a variety of skin colors. I guess now it's time to learn to play... click accept!

I had been watching the Age of Conan teasers for some time. As a World of Warcraft total addict, I was skeptical of moving my playing time to a new game. After all, I have 4 level 70 characters! and a slew of dependant lower characters. I have already invested much time and money in levelling and acquiring in-game stuff. I like being a toon... Will AoC seduce me as it has been seducing so many? And what of my WoW pets? Could I possibly leave them? After much deliberation, I took the plunge and bought the game for about $50 and registered for my free month of use. This should get the ball rolling. AoC has been out for a month already and so there are somethings that are patched and fixed and the community is growing. So let's see what all the fuss is about.
