As time is passing by swiftly, the release date for Vanguard: Saga of Heroes is closing in just as rapidly. Curse, as you all know, has had a Vanguard portal on our network available for quite some time now. In preparation for Vanguard release, Curse is announcing a contest with prizes for the top contributors of content, files and media to the Vanguard portal. There are three ways to win a collector’s edition, meaning that there will be three different CE’s given out. We have split the contest up into the following categories:

>1) Interface / Addons submission; Being active and contributing to the community by submitting your interface modifications and addons for Vanguard to our website will make you eligible to win the Collector’s Edition prize for this category.

>2) Screenshots and game media submission; By uploading and sharing screenshots, media and maps for Vanguard to our website marks you as eligible to win the Collector’s Edition prize for this category.

>3) Guides, Walkthroughs and game help F.A.Q submission; By authoring and sharing your guides and game information with the community on our Vanguard Wiki, you become eligible to win the Collector’s Edition prize for this category.

So why participate? To this the answer is simple. Why not? By sharing and helping your community you are not just making information available to others, you are laying the bricks for others to in turn make more information available to you. The same goes for all of the categories listed above. In addition to feeling good about yourself for sharing with the community, you also have the chance to win the Vanguard CE itself!

So what is required to participate in the contest? Simply that you register an account (free) on our website – nothing more, nothing less!

How is the winner determined? By tallying the Curse points acquired and looking over each account’s submission activity, coupled with the quality of the content submitted, the prize will be awarded to those contestants that submit the most and best, be it interface modifications, guides or screenshots. The contest will end on January the 29th, and the winners announced shortly after! It’s that simple!
