This has not really been documented by Mythic Entertainment at all, but Warhammer Online supports AddOns just the same as World of Warcraft does, and we're fully supporting it with a Warhammer AddOn section here on Curse.

Those of you in Open Beta may want to check it out -- there are quite a few very cool AddOns already popping up -- with more no doubt on the way as the game inches closer to release. Below are just a few of the "must haves" that players will find extremely useful as you dive into Warhammer Online for the first time.

These are just a few of the AddOns currently available, and more are being added every day, so head over and check them out!

    I know some people will laugh but after World of Warcraft I need to have UI addon support. It is a fundamental feature if you ask me.

    edit - I'm really happy to hear about this. It was one of the things I was wondering about.

    I installed to user\interface\addons and they aren't loading.

    there a guide somewhere?

    You need to install to the base interface\addons\ folder, not within the user\ folder.

    I don't know if it is just me but some of the addons are not showing, particularly the ones in the "combat" catagory.

    is this a folder i need to create? as i only have the one interface folder and thats in user\

    Install addons to

    \warhammer\Interface\Addons

    Do NOT use \user\interface\addons -- basically because it does not work.

    Also: the Addon system in WAR is almost the same as in WOW, both use LUA so you should see a lot of WAR authors making good stuff for WAR. WAR Also has a inbuildt debugger for UI development which is REALLY nice.

    It's good to see WoW authors like CKKnight and Kaelten getting their hands into the Warhammer addon world! Hope to see some more outstanding work from them!
