This is the same engine that was used to make the popular EA Mythic game, Dark Age of Camelot

None

Good news, daoc had an incredible engine back in the days.

I'm starting to worry about this game. I'm not a DAoC fan. I want a Warhammer game in the form of a next-gen mmorpg.
I don't want a DAoC clone.

None

So, basicly is that good or bad news?
I mean John Carmac - though that might be misspelled - used to write good game engines for ID Entertainment and ever came up with brilliant progressions until doom3 where he actually screwed.

So could it be that the engine will be brilliant or is this a definitly insane step towards killing the game before being born?

DAoC did have a good engine, but they better improve upon it or it won't be able to stand a chance against the unstoppable machine that is WoW.

And yes, John Carmac screwed up. But not half as bad as his buddy George Romero did. Daikatana anyone? El. oh. el.

Example using Original Windows and using Windows XP now.... not sure thats the greatest comparison but hey you get the jist of it.
