Its All WOW

Gold sellers the Bane of my Play life

Well the gold sellers are back in force. It was a nice rest from their unwelcome and unwanted stupid whispers .Gold sellers are one of life's scum bag's that in my opinion are so low they would have to parachute out of a snakes ass, just to get to their computer to log onto W.O.W

You can always tell when they are back,Good's you can sell on the  AH get undercut by a fair bit. Making honest players out to earn some gold , peeved as, as they legitimately save up gold to get, what ever their "goal" is that requires gold. The sellers don't care, they have no play life, their sole prepose is to farm, 24 /7  not play or to make any genuine welcome and positive contribution to the game in any shape or form. They create a self fulling cycle. But is it just the gold sellers ? Nope, as with all things its a two way street supply and demand. Players that either are ( A ) to dam lazy or stupid to make gold ( B) People that want a quick fix, with the concentration span of a Nat, and those that can't tell the simple difference between what they need and what they want. (C) those that  get so frustrated at being undercut all the time, and wanting to buy item X  for a heap of gold out of frustration turn to these evil Selfish Gits, to get the gold to get X item. Therefore unwittingly cause the cycle of undercutting to continue. Yet they do not seem to realize the gold sellers are screwing them over twice. One making you part with real life money. Secondly as already stated, undercutting the very goods you are trying to sell on AH. Which caused you to want to use their "services" in the first place.

If that wasn't enough to peeve me off in game life. I now see a number of comment posts recently from gold sellers on our blogs, once more they are not adding any positive input. just clogging the system up with their crap.

So all you gold sellers and those that use Game players Blogs to peddle your crapy existence BUGGER OFF AND CRWAL BACK UNDER THE ROCK YOU SLITHERED OUT FROM.

Also wanted to add about hacking accounts... With all due respect to the posters here, I believe there is no way to get your account into trouble with hackers if you follow simple rules Blizzard provides and stay away of keyloggers - so it is partially a players' responsibility to keep their accounts safe.

This might sound rude and abusive to a gold seller hater but here is my opinion anyway.

I don't hate gold sellers. I do not hate anything that naturally appears to be an answer to one's NEEDS. I can't hate any way in which someone else has figured he would make money unless it is illegal... You know why? because what I really hate is that WoW players buy it. Selling gold is not a cheat since it is not strictly prohibited by Blizzard. it is just a way to make real life dollars and euros. BUYING gold is. It is admitting to yourself that you are such a lousy player you are unable to follow a game's rules and succeed in it, but not aknowledging it before your guildies/ingame friends. It is cheating against honest players, telling tales about farming and crafting and how it got you to this level of wealth while all you did was pay a few bucks to a gold seller. It's a slap in the face to all the honest players.

I also hate that Blizzard still hasn't made it to be illegal. All they do is warn you that buying gold is not safe for your account... The flow in/out of gold is so easy to trace that it begs for question: Why Blizzard allows this to happen? Is there really no better way to cut such 'services' off games?

YES!!! Finally one that shares my opinion!! Those gold sellers all deserve to feel when someone ruin your game.

And Tonyl: Please shut up about that weegold.com s***. The gold sellers make a hell lot of money that they do not deserve at all!

Thank you. Im always very very pleased to see that other then me also hate those pests called gold sellers. Is it not possible to get theire IP adresses and deny them entrance to wow forever?

I dont know, but it would be nice thoug. Im so tired off all the wispers that comes about gold for sale, and i wish there was something more i could do then just tell them to piss off or ignore them. I love wow, i love a lot of the people that plays wow, and i hope there will come a day when goldsellers actually are getting "caught" and banned.( BTW: Please excuse me for my poor english and my terrible spelling,im from Norway and dont know any better^^).

PS: I hope people will keep this topic hot, and somehow spread the attitude off wanting to stop goldselling and the people using it. That way ignorance can be no excuse. And again, thanks.

    So Tonyl

seems you missed the point of this blog completely and have seen fit to post an ad for your peddle pushing gold

there is no such thing as a safe gold seller

The fact that is it illegal by Blizzard Game rules to sell or purchase gold. and they do reserve the right to not only bane you from your account but prevent you from opening another one simply by not excepting you're account application

Yet despite this You see fit to make a post with agin no real helpful or positive comment, just a "comment" to push you and your friends gold site.

Well when I said gold sellers farm 24 /7 I meant not a single person, it is a simply matter of getting  a few people willing to farm sending all "profits" to one place/ person.

Yes I do suspect that Gold sellers do hack accounts when and where they can to help up the gold pool.

However It is a lot easier to make gold than most think or know, when I wanted to build my chopper bike, the parts being 12500 K and that was just the K3 parts, I made all the gold myself. Simple matter of, if I spent a few  hours using my professions I could make 1k a day, and yes I still had time to play do dailies and what not.

If you see a public gold seller on your server either an open general chat, trade or whisper, simply right click their name and select report spam. Blizzard encouraged this for a bit which gave all players a welcome rest from gold sellers. THose players that do not want nor like gold sellers can send them packing simply by "report spam"  thats all it take as Blizzard will read the text  and simply close and bane that account. So hit em where it hurts in their own pockets.

Gold sellers use a number of "tools" to hack accounts from key logging to the most simple thing of asking for some basic account details. Again stop and think, and remember these people do not care about you or your circumstances and will go to ( from what I have seen) any lengths to make real life money so they have no pretense about breaking the law, by defrauding players in a  number of ways.

As Sonatasuns daughter found out the hard way unfortunately, I suspect she lost more than just items, she lost the respect of guild members. and the trust of those she calls friends and fellow guild members

Like I have stated gold sellers do not care about the over all damage they do to the individuals reputation, game experience or the game as a whole.

I do hope that your daughter has not lost all the joy of the game, and she can continue to be a positive force in game and in her guild.

Observation:  my daughter's account was hacked six weeks ago.  At the time she was an officer in a large guild.  The hackers drained not only her gear, her bags but also the guild bank.  I estimate the at 20 dollars US per 1000 gold the perpatrator gained $1000 US.

I suspect breaking into player account is the major source of gold for the sellers.  I don't doubt but she was targeted because of her role in a large guild.

I share the sentiment expressed about gold sellers.  They distort the game's trade system.  I wonder how they manage to accumulate what must be vast stocks of gold.  Widgetspace says the farm 24/7.  This could be true.  But do we know that as a fact?

The gold sellers are succussful because the gold supplied by the game system does not adequately meet demand.  Blizzard might vary the supply of gold dropped into the system where gold sellers are unlikely to pursue it, such as one-time quests or high level instances.  A sudden influx of gold will depress demand for gold for pay.

    I so agree with this!

ROFL - my sentiments entirely. Not forgetting they also screw over your ability to complete that quest that requires collecting 20 of X from the things they are farming the crap out of...
