Your points are generally floored in several ways, not least being a simple sign of bitterness.

Firstly, your first point claims that mobs hitting harder is bad and yet the easiest way to make an instance that is buffed harder, is to make the same mobs hit for more damage. This makes sure that if you are in low grade gear, you die and thus you know you shouldn't be in that heroic. I'd be interested to see what gear you are in because I get the impression you don't want to spend the time and effort playing the game. Your point isn't about BM being better than the other heroics. In my opinion, it isn't because it is easier. This is purely about easy epics.

Secondly, epic flying mounts are a bonus. What Blizzard have said is that you only need something that can fly to get to certain places hence why rare flying mounts are so cheap. Epic flying mounts on the other hand are not a need. You don't need an epic flying mount to get from point a to point b but if you want one, you can have one. Also, the mounts themselves cost little to nothing - the training for 300 skill costs 5000g. 5000g is not a massively hard thing to come by, especially in Outland. I personally place greater importance on my item stats and tend to spend my gold on better enchants but if I ever had the urge to get an epic flying mount, I would do.

Your third point contradicts the above point slightly. What you said above is that you would have a quest to get an item that takes time and now you are saying you would not make players spend hours in instances to get items...erm...yeah... Your, "fix," screws over the casual gamer as well in a big way and is not a fix at all. You are saying that if you are not good enough then you don't get the stuff but this is not what World of Warcraft is about. If you are good, you get the stuff before the people who aren't so good. That is fair. It allows the good players to show they are good but it allows the casuals who don't want to be on the edge of their seat all the time to get the gear as well. What is wrong with the current system? Also, think from Blizzards point of view. If players could simply get items quickly, their would be no longevity in the game and thus people would get bored quickly. If you ever create an MMOG, I anticipate it would last about a month. Then I'd have the same gear as everyone else and leave because your game has no longevity and I'm to going to pay £8.99 a month so that some smug git can sit on his high horse because his arena team has 2000+ rating and mine doesn't.

I find your comment about, "crystal meth addict morons," highly insulting as I know people who have been crystal meth addicts and they are not morons. I agree that the forums have troublemakers as I was one of them. What I don't agree with is, yet again, your fix. The forums don't need to be any more constraining than they already are. Blizzards CMs are already on the edge as far as alot of posters are concerned so having anymore oppresive actions would only server to destroy all faith in Thundgot and co (EU). I would make the realm forums player moderated personally and have 2-3 players moderate the forums constantly. Also, I hate to break it to you but you are more advanced (Elitist Jerk in the literal sense and not in the fan site sense) and your points prove that :-P

I'm not even going to dignify your trash abotu trash with a responce.

All in all this would have been a fairly good post if you had left emotion on your desk and used logic to justify your points. This just comes across as one of those whine posts that gets the, "IBTL," responces on the official forums :-(

Five Things I Hate About WoW

I told him the response wasn't going to be pretty if I put it up. Sure enough, I was right :). All I can say is take his posts with a grain of salt. I find it amusing, personally. I don't agree with most of his points.

I think the point he was trying to make with the 3rd was that why should a player could wipe hours on raids attaining T5 gear when all he needs to do is spend a few weeks grinding arena to get the equivalents.

I do in a sense agree with his point about Heroic difficulties, but disagree in the method. I want to see more creative ways to do things. A good one would that daily quest in Blade's Edge (Relic's Emanation) or that other quest in Blade's Edge where you had to drop 5 posts in a fashion where the waves they emit would come together. Those quests involved thinking instead of the normal kill this, find this. I'd love to see some more of that incorporated int he game.

On the bright side, I can't say Doc's first post didn't stimulate discussion.

But a lot of players started playing WoW after TBC came out. They don't remember what it was like in the old days. They possess no raiding experience at all whatsoever. Sometimes, they just need a push in the right direction. There's a ton of sites out there with stats, numbers, and math. But I can't find much on priest moves or what to do if A happens or what to do if B happens. Sadly, common sense is an asset that appears in limited quantity.
