PTR 2.4.3 Undocumented Changes

Yesterday we posted the new PTR 2.4.3 Patch Notes and also Spells and Mounts which were discovered.

Today we have some undocumented changes to share and also:

PTR In-Game Code Redemption

This is pretty cool, Blizzard are letting us redeem the new TCG rare promotional items, for testing purposes on the PTR.

During the patch 2.4.3 testing process, we'd like to provide players with the unique opportunity to acquire a few rare promotional items! We encourage any players on the PTR to visit Landro Longshot in Booty Bay to redeem the following items:

All you need to do is input the above codes when visiting Landro, and that's it!

Please note that this give-away pertains solely to the Public Test Realms.

Changes to items

With 2.4.3 the Season 4 vendors are selling epic gems for arena points, the price is 800 points per gem:

Another very important thing to take note of is the fact that the Arena Gems are not unique on equip, while the Honor Gems remain unique on equip. Pretty big difference!

New items

Paris Hilton, err I mean, Haris Pilton (her long lost twin) who now live in Shattrath City is selling brand new items.

The following four items is the latest fashion in Outlands, spoil someone you like a lot or perhaps buy them to yourself.

  • Sapphire Pinky Ring | 600 gold
  • Ruby Shades | 2000 gold
  • Noble's Elementium Signet | 2400 gold
  • Gold Eternium Band | 3000 gold

Hilton actually sells something useful too, a 22 slot bag.

  • "Gigantique" Bag | 1200 gold

New Herb Bag

A new 28 slot herb bag is available if you're revered or higher with Sporeggar (tailoring). It takes 2 Fel Lotus and 4 Primal Mooncloth. The name? Mycah's Botanical Bag.

You would be surprised, people have a lot of gold now adays

1200 gold is like 3 days of dailies if you do the 25 per day daily limit not counting loot and selling worthy drops. This isn't at all bad considering how much cost and effort it would be to get the Primal Mooncloth bags http://www.wowhead.com/?item=21876 . I am curious if it'll be "unique equip" once it goes live though given Blizz's begrudging attitude with certain items.

Yep. The new dailies have made most "rich". I have 2 L70 chars, and one on the rise, and they have/will have Epic Flying Mount. Simply due to the SSH daily quests.

I have added some Screenies from the Soul Trader. I was concentrating on the Ethereal Mutagen. Kinda lame since in order to collect the Soul Bucks, or whatever, you need to kill mobs within your xp lvl. No going to Goldshire and hitting up the mine for quick kills lol.

Picture of the Ethereal Mutagen used on the Clockwork Rocket Bot

Picture of the Soul Trader casting is Soul Sucking Beam!

Sorry about the size of pics, didn't know they would blow up everything....

That's because you go there to die :p

lol any pity for some of us who got their epic birds on just 10 daily limit with pretty much just the Skyguard's?

Anyhoo, I'm not up on how much Primal Mooncloth Bags go for these days. I use them with little intent to sell given the rate you can make them and the numbers of alts I need to fill. It may drive the price down a bit.

I'm a little lost about how Pilton got to sell the bag. I don't think big bags and fashion mix much. See Gucci, Versace... etc. Though I will note that I'm amazed how much small fashion bags hold (just look in any lady's cosmetics bag). Given the other gear, perhaps she should get a booth next to Grifter.
