WotLK Release Date: November 13 2008!

The date is finally set. Wrath of the Lich King will be released November 13 2008. Make sure to pre-order your copy now!

Only about two months away from the release of Wrath of the Lich King means that patch 3.0.2 will most likely go live sometime around the middle of October.

The source is a huge advertisement over at Wowhead which says "IN STORES 11.13.08". Since said site is an official Blizzard fansite, it's safe to say that this date is definite.

    Whatever you do, do not order from Gamestop! They hosed me and several of my friends on the WAR CE preorder. Headstart for WAR has started and all of us are still waiting for our promised codes, including the headstart code. Gamestop = epic fail.

    just wanted to add that when i was heading to beta.worldofwarcraft.com/expansion/ i got an ad from Blizzard that Showed the box and said "in stores 11.13.08" also at the bottom "*Australia In Stores 11.14.08"

    The address for the ad was http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/splash-wrathdate.htm but that does not load the ad if you try it, but you can see the image here>> http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/images/splash/splash-wrathdate.jpg

    That should teach people to be a little less skeptical. Even if it is pushed back, it will come soon enough :D

    When i tried logging into wow's community site (make sure you dont go to the index page first) this morning the flash showing the release date was there and once you continue to the home page, its the top article.

    I've long since pre-ordered the regular version, I just counted the change in my piggy and I have enough to upgrade to the collector's edition. I'm a super happy panda.

    Gamestop is complete ***, don’t buy anything from them, you’ll end up being charged WAY to much. If you’re looking for a place to pre-order try Best buy, Frys, Circuit City, or Game crazy. If you’re asking yourself why shouldn’t I buy from game stop
