Additional Kael'thas Sunstrider Information

Nihilum looks to be hard at work on the Kael'thas Sunstrider encounter. They've posted an image including all of the weapons looted during the encounter. It looks like these weapons will be very integral to defeating Kael'thas.

I am confused.... "They've posted an image including all of the weapons looted during the encounter." I thought they hadn't actually killed him yet. Are they looted as you kill the other mobs around him?

Note that these items are bound to Tempest Keep. The moment you die or leave the instance, they will dissapear. So yes, they are looted during the encounter and used to defeat him.

Oh, well that clears it up. Too bad they aren't a weapon you can keep, though. They really need to add a new legendary like Thunderfury or something, one that you can actually keep.

Next to having High DPS, stats etc. They all seem to have some sort of use, defense, or passive effect that benefit the raid, making them even more 'usefull' than DPS wise alone :)

Nice work from blizz, really love this kind of content :)

All of you guys shouting "fake" clearly don't understand the concept of these weapons, and would appear to be incapable of reading - that is, it clearly lists as a requirement "Tempest Keep".

Granker is very much right. There is nothing within these weapons that refers to the fact that they would be fake. They are simply used only for the event, and can't be used outside of Tempest Keep.
