South Park's "Make Love, Not Warcraft" wins an Emmy

1UP.com is reporting that South Park's "Make Love, Not Warcraft" - an episode which aired late last year - was awarded the 2007 Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program at this year's Emmy Awards.

South Park episode "Make Love, Not Warcraft," which famously skewered MMORPG World of Warcraft and its many subscribers late last year, was awarded the 2007 Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program at the 59th Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Saturday. Executive Producers Matt Stone and Trey Parker, also writer and director on the episode, were honored, along with producers Frank C. Agnone II, Anne Garefino, and Kyle McCulloch, as well as Eric Stough, director of animation.

    It was a typical SouthPark episode and certainly did not represent 99% of wow players. It didn't deserve any rewards.
